The Hotel was modern and very clean, and well kept. The staff were very freindly and helpful. However, the construction of tte building (tiled foors, pertitoon walls) means that every small noise is heard by you rneighbours. It is very noisy. The location was not very good either. I would not recommend it anyone else, I would not return. Try another hotel somewhere closer to the centre.

Hi The hotel is good for the price you pay. The room is basic but very clean. The bathroom looks quite new and is also clean.Ideal for a long weekend and when you spend most of the day visiting the city. The only disadvantage is that the hotel is noisy (tiles on the floor and thin walls) and opposite the window there is building very close. I recomend for a short stay.

Your hotel is very good to a good price. The staff was great. The rooms are really small, but we knew that. The only thing we wished had been better is the breakfest. 6 euro is a too high price. Add some ham, tomato and cheese and it will be ok. We gladly recommend this hotel to our friends!

The room was quiet and clean even if the funiture was pretty oldfashioned, but we had a private bathroom. The location is very good since the hotel is behind the Sagrada Familia and it's near the subway station (the blue line Hospital de Sant Pau). The price doesn't include breakfast and that's the only thing I didn't like.

it was so cold one day that the heaters were not adequate, and the hotel did not have any small heaters to lend us. the condensation around the window created a lot of mould that needs to be dealt with, for health reasons. the hotel odour was also very bad, it smelt like cat urine. the breakfast was ok, not fantastic, we tried it once and didn't go back. however, overall we were satisfied, the location was good, and the people working at the hotel were very friendly.

Good value for money. Very clean, cery close to Sagrada Familia and St Pau hospital. Metro very accessible. Staff courteous. Would consider another stay at Medium Avalon

nous avons trouvé l'hotel agréable , calme et bien situé et l'accueil chaleureux ;avec un prix raisonnable ! et ils fournissent un lit de bb avec draps et serviette ! à signaler pour les personnes à mobilité réduite : l'ascenseur n'est pas très grand on y rentre juste à 2 adultes avec une poussette de bb

The hotel is pretty good, everything pretty clean and good rooms. the only thing i wasn't very happy at all was the fact that wifi was sooo slow and the walls that divide rooms, I mean, you can hear breathing on the other room from yours one, really. Anyway, i think it costed to me a double room and per night 45 € IVA included(breakfst not included), so for that price it is advisable..because some hostal much worst costs more or less the same.

Rooms are very plain (beds, TV and a closet). Linoleum floor, no carpet. Bath is stand-up, although overall the restroom is quite convenient and exceptionally clean. We appreciated a free wireless, but the connection was unstable, and I had to go to the reception area to work without interruption. The main issue with the room was the noise: we had a guy snoring in the next room as if there is no tomorrow. A breakfast - pastry and drinks - costed too much (if I am not mistaken, it was 8 Euro at the time of our visit). It is definitely not a place for romantic couples, families with children or business travellers, but for backpackers or budget tourists it is ok. The location is very convenient, it is in working distance to Sagrada Familia and the area in general is nice. Not sure if any underground station is nearby. It is more convenient than a hostel, but the level of comfort is not more than 1-2 stars.

We stayed there for New Year and were very happy with the choice - the hotel is in the heart of Barcelona center. And recepcionist ladies were super - they helped us to organize celebration of New Year and leisure time.

Staff molto cordiale, albergo carino. Ottimo rapporto qualita' prezzo. Non fatevi ingannare dal numero di stelle, per esperienza vi dico che contano ben poco. Sceglietelo tranquillamente per le vostre vacanze, resterete soddisfatti.

L'hotel e' carino, vale sicuramente piu' di una stella; tre minuti a piedi dalla metro, dieci minuti a piedi dalla Sagrada Famiglia, quindi comodissimo. La stanza 403 è come da foto, è risultata spaziosa e comoda, il bagno con doccia e piccola vasca è accogliete e pulito. La zona è tranquilla e sicura.

The room was extremely small and the noise was awful all night. There was absolutely no chance of sleeping at all. However having complained we were moved to a bigger room which had thicker walls aa well as a window which faced onto the street instead of a block of flats six feet from the window.

A good hotel, with good service and well located. The rooms overlooking the street are a bit noisy.

Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliato a chi generalmente è abituato a spostarsi in metropolitana, in quanto è un po' lontano dai vari centri d'interesse.
