Hotel Hesperia Carlit - Barcelona

Nice service, ubication, rooms and breakfast.

The staff was friendly and helping. They fulfilled all ofour requests happily. The location was really close to the subway and also you could walk everywhere. We really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel person can speak English and helpful, so overall it was a good stay. The hotel was close to Sagrada Familia, and Tetuan station. The WiFi service was only in the lobby, but it was free. The only thing that I feel sad was the breakfirst was expensive (11 Euros), so I reccomend to have it in the Cafe or somewhere else, if your plan doesn't includes the meal.

Very nice hotel and exactly as described on website. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and fresh sheets/towels every day. Good location, just a 10/15 minute walk to a main street where busses/tour busses run regularly. Two very nice Italian restaurants next door.

The biggest problem with this Hotel is that the air conditioning had not been turned on(late April).Our room which faced an internal stairwell/liftshaft was very stuffy and in order to sleep we had to open the window.The extremly noisy lift then kept us awake.We were not told about the fan that was available until we checked out even though we had complained about the air conditioning after our first night.

Good location for Sagrada Familia. In a quiet part of town. Constantly awoken by the elevator from 5a.m. onwards. Good buffet breakfast; €8 if you book night before, otherwise more expensive the next day. Friendly, pleasant staff. Shame about the noisy elevator!

Smart, comfortable and very clean rooms, with contemporary & minimalist decoration. Very nice & spacious shower. Our bedroom had a balcony to the main street. Huge bed! The hotel is in a beautiful late 1800's/early 1900's building (characteristic local architecture style) which hace been refurbished and has had the facade cleaned. Staff were very professional, friendly, helpful and discrete. Being a lesbian couple we felt very comfortable.

Hotel situato fuori dal centro ma molto vicino alla stazione degli autobus che da Girona arrivano a Barcellona e molto vicino alla Sagrada Familia. La zona è tranquilla anche di notte ed è collegata bene a tutto il resto della Città. Stanza molto pulita e accogliente dotata di tutti i servizi indispensabili, personale molto gentile. L'unico difetto della mia stanza era che non aveva finestre che si affacciavano fuori ma un'unica finestrina affacciata su un atrio, niente luce naturale. Tutto il resto compreso rapporto qualità prezzo super OK.

I stayed in a single room, it was quiet and had the facilities you would expect in a hotel room. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. The faults I found with the room was that the shower tray leaked so the floor was saturated wet after the shower. Also the en-suite was not sparkling clean as it should be. The hotel is in a good position in the city. It is 10mins walk from the main bus station and 5 mins from the Teutan subway stop.

Very well it is near the center and the Metro, clean and fashion I'll come back.

We are very pleased with the hotel Carlit, and gladly recomend it. The only negativ was that the bed was way to hard! And try to get a rum that does not have window to the main street, it´s a little bit to noicy.

Modern, spacious,and clean !! Recommend for those arriving by Ryanair bus late at night. On the contrary, not recommend for those leaving (very) early morning on Ryanair bus. This is because the hotel will not let you touch the breakfast (that you see laid nicely on the table) before its official breakfast hours (7-10 am) .. hahaha.. (A cup of coffee and a piece of pastry is possible, perhaps at the courtesy of the reception desk)
