Good location 2 blocks north of Placa Catalonia an near metro station. On the downside : A bit traffic disturbance in rooms facing the street.Had to pay EUR 7 extra per. day for the use of the safe in the room. Apart from this , a very good hotel.

What I really liked about the hotel is its location (very close to Passeig del Gracia, one of the mainstreets of Barcelona with lots of shops, cafes). The room was also comfy, spacious enough, though a little obscure, as the windows went to a small inner court. Among the slight drawbacks I would notice the absence of gym and/or a pool;an unfriendly barman who always told me that the bar was closed, though at the reception they claimed that it was open; renovation works in the hotel's lobby (though I should point out that this is not a major drawback, cos the works are only done during the daytime and do not disturb the guests at all). In general, the hotel is very quiet and iws suitable for all people who have come on vacation or on business and seek comfort and tranquility.

The hotel was undergoing some improvements in the lobby but no noise was heard due to very good soundproofing. Some rooms overlook a very small courtyard. Request a room overlooking the street, but they are smaller and furnished with queen size beds. Parking is rather expensive (22€/d) but half the price of the public parking closeby.

The location was excelent, by foot you cold go to the Ramblas and Barri Gòtic (part off Ciutat Vella - Old Town), the metro station was just near by and Paseig de Gracia is a central comercial street where La Pedrera and House Batlo can be visited. The rooms were spacious and all the usual acessories in de bath room (hair drier, shampoo, brush and thoot paste, etc) were available. The personel was very helpful. Great weekend and a very nice hotel to stay. Definitly gone stay there next time in Barcelona.

Very attractive hotel, rooms are modern, spacous and clean. Very quiet. Location, location, location. Very safe feeling area with people always around. 2 minute walk to Casa Batllo and on to La Pedrera. Less than 10 minutes to La Rambla. Lots of restaurants and ice cream shops close by. Rambla De Catalunya one street over. Metro stops really close by and a short walk to Passeig De Gracia RENFE station. We can't wait to go back to Barcelona and also stay at HCC ST. MORITZ. Good value for the money.

Hotel perfetto sotto tutti i punti di vista! Pulito, ben arredato e accessoriato, centralissimo, a un passo da Plaça de Catalunya e dai palazzi di Gaudì. Lo raccomando e ci ritornerò sicuramente.

We arrived late (after midnight) due to a delayed flight and were told that there were no rooms available due to "flood". HCC had moved us to a sister hotel some way from St Moritz. We returned to the St. Moritz the next day and checked in, room OK. Service from then on excellent, reception staff went out of their way to make up the for the original problem.

I spent three days during New Year's Eve and I spent 147 Euro per night (I think it is about the double of normal price during the year). The price can be considered good for a four stars hotel, but I consider this hotel only a three stars. Anyway the location is excellent, the room was clean, but small and too hot, and the employees nice but absolutely useless for any information (where to eat, where to spend New Year's Eve,...) maybe because of the period and the absence of the manager!!! On top of that we spent about 24 hours without hot water because of a problem they had. I am still waiting to be called from the manager for a compensation. Summarizing good hotel where to stay, but don't expect a service level of a four stars hotel.

Poca varietà nel buffet rispetto al costo. L'albergo è posizionato centralmente e consente di vistare la città sempre a piedi. Personale disponibile a trovare soluzioni e risolvere problemi che si dovessere presentare.

Rooms are very noisy. It is impossible to sleep !!! Furnitures are outdated. I think they have to repaint the rooms rapidly. Welcoming was nice but our prioriy was to sleep. It is the third time we stay in Barcelona (in the same area) and it is the worst quality vs price we tested. It is extremely regrettable that this kind of hotel rely on its location. High price for low quality! For me, it deserves 2* sup!

This was a great place to stay in Barcelona. I paid $110 for two people. The room was on the inside courtyard which wasn't much to look at, but was very quiet, which meant a lot. The hotel was on a quiet street two blocks from the subway, which was quite convenient, and a ten minute walk from Las Ramblas or other (more interesting) destinations. It was very upscale, more like a business traveller hotel, and very professional. Nice convenient, safe, and relaxing place to stay.

Excellent competence of employees, kind and gentle (for example, they helped us find other hotels in other towns of Spain); very good site, near Plaza Catalunya and La Rambla; spacious and cleaned rooms, they kindly offered us a bottle of red wine, as welcome. We recommend it!

Hotel collocato in posizione strategicamente eccezionale, a pochi passi da piazza catalugna, dal barrio gotico, dalle rambla, da casa batllò, la predera e quindi servita benissimo dalla metrò.

The hotel was booked at the very last minute, literally a few hours before we were due to arrive in Barcelona. Usually hotels in Spain (in my experience) do not live up to their star ratings and we were delighted to find that the Hotel HCC St Moritz lived up to its rating both in terms of facilities and location. All the staff were excellent and helpful. In terms of location, facilities and value for money I would certainly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is well situated only minutes away from the Plaza de Catalunya and La Rambla. The price and quality of the set dinner was excellent at 23 euros plus tax. However I felt the price for the buffet breakfast was rather high at 17.5 euros plus tax. I would certainly stay here again but ensure that I took breakfast in one of the local cafes or bars.

Unfortunately the price quoted said breakfast included but the hotel said it was for room only and that the breakfast would be a further 17 euros this was most annoying as i had specificly booked their offer which said b/b included .The same happened at the Majestic which i booked at the same time for 4 nights their breakfast being 26euros it appears the hotels mislead the customer in spain as this has never happened before using your reservation system

Great location with respect to visiting the surrounding area but the traffic noise was quite loud until late at night and beginning again early in the morning. The staff was very helpful/knowlegeable and friendly. The breakfast is not included in the price and we found it to be rather expensive, but there were numerous breakfast options just a short walk from the hotel.
