877-662-6988Not far from the city centre and well connected to all main roads and sights, the property is housed in a classic and elegant early 19th century building, rebuilt in 2003, and guarantees its guests the maximum comfort thanks to the most modern services and facilities such as a breakfast room, a bar/cafeteria and two meeting rooms.
At the reception, guests can ask for different sorts of tourist information such as city guides and maps; they can also take advantage of an external laundry service and the rent a car service.
Even though the hotel does not have an own health care service, guests do not have to worry about anything because in case of need the staff will contact an external medical service.
For those guests who want to stay in touch with their friends and relatives, all accommodations feature free ADSL Internet connection while public areas have Wi-Fi Internet connection.

In my opinion, it was the best ratio of price and quality of accommodation. My guests were surprised that I have managed to book such a room at such a low rate. I recommend this hotel for the best ratio - prices/quality of the accommodation.

My first time at this hotel. Excellent relation price/quality. Normally hotels in the area would be much more expensive. Not an hotel for those who seek fancy decor or facilities, but everything is correct, clean, rooms are spacious, and the service is friendly and helpful. Excellent for businbess travel and as a base for visiting the city, as the location is exceptional.

The hotel itself was fine; clean, reasonably spacious rooms, comfortable bed and the exercise bike in the room was an interesting touch. Downside was the reception staff who needed lessons in smiling and who all seemed generally uninterested in the guests. The area is clean & safe but be aware that the nearest metro stop is about 1km away.

The hotel is clean and fairly comfy, however it is a bit far from the centre where everything is going on. It is fairly close to a few metro stops so it can be easy to get around. Overall a good place at a cheap price. As a single traveler it worked perfect - room service was fast, internet was free and I was able to get around Barcelona with ease.

I've already been in this hotel and it is always ok!!! the bus stop is just in front of the hotel and the underground is about 500 meters!!!

The hotel is great. Well located, with an impressive number of bus in front of the hotel, that could take you to every turistic point of the city. The rooms are very big, and very nice. We had a wonderfull time there, and the city is magnificent.

It is a good and established hotel in the center of the city of Barcelona. But rather far from the Metro station and we had to use a tax to get to somewhere. The hotel staff could provide information about almost anything by using PC such as location of a restaurant or laundry shop, etc.

How to reach HCC Covadonga Hotel
By trainFrom Sants railway station take the bus n. 32 (Sants/Roquetes) for 6 stops to Buenos Aires-Comte d'Urgell. The hotel is 2 minutes on foot from there.
By bus
From the Estació del Nord bus station: go straight ahead the Carrer Sicília street, turn left at Carrer de Casp and when you reach Carrer Roger de Flor, continue ahead until Gran Via. Turn right and you will find the bus stop. Take the bus n. 6 (Pg. M. Girona/Poblenou). After 9 stops get off at Avinguda Diagonal-Plaça Francesc Macià. The hotel is 1 minute on foot from there.
By airplane
Take the Airbus at any of the airport terminals and get off at Plaça d'Espanya. Then take the underground L3 green line for 5 stops and step off at Maria Cristina. From there, take the L1 TRAM to Francesc Macià. The hotel is just in front of the tram stop.
