Good location as a base to stay for visiting Barcelona. The nearby train station is just around the corner and takes about 10mins to travel to the city centre, such as La Ramla. Very good stay.

Stayed 4 nights in Barcelona.Very convenient location, subway was just around the corner, breakfast available and very reasonable. Appreciated having access to the internet. Restaurants, bars, convenient store, shops close by, were an added bonus.

Breakfast could be more diverse with the option to receive either cheese and pastrami for a reasonable price and not at 13 and a half euros per person. Room service did not replace sheets at least once every time we were in a hotel. General location was fine near the center.

Perfect location to visit Barcelona! 1 minute away from Pl.Molina (L7)that is linked perfectly (about 15 min) to Pl.Catalunya where is the Aereobus station (from Airport about 20 min -- 5,3euro). The breakfast is not included in the price but in front of the hotel there is a bar.

We were very happy with this hotel. It is exactly what we saw on the website. Staff was helpful, room was amazing, very clean, great size for Europe, shower was perfect. Location could not been better: 1 minute to a subway station, but also lots of bus lines that take you right to city center. We felt very safe as well. I highly recommend this hotel!

We arrived the hotel very late and the hotel receptionist was helpful with parking and food (telepizza). Very satisfied with both rooms we booked, but little dissapointed for 13,50 euros for breaksfast each person (also children).

We spent 4 days in Barcelona. The hotel is located a bit far from the touristic zone but there are many nearby metro and bus stations, which makes visiting very easy. Don't forget to go to the cafeteria right across the street: excellent service, coffee and sandwiches.

We stayed in barcelona for 3 nights. The city is amazing. It combines historical places with easy access to the sea side. Hotel is nice, clean and luxury enough. Real 3 stars. But, after the check out, we found that some of our belongings is missing :(.

We got a simple room based on misleading, unlabeled, photos of much better rooms. The simple room did not have night tables! We switched to the next step in rooms, and it was very good, but the price difference was twenty some euros/night

Very nice hotel. Our rooom was really spacious and clean. The Hotel is located just a few minutes (two metro stations) from city centre. The only minor issue is the high price for breakfast (around 15 Euro/person).

Hotel was OK. The only problem was that in the room we stayed we can't see anything out of the window because it was covered from outside.

Nice place. Very close to metro. Walk distance to the city center. Quality vs. price = good deal. Tip: you shouldn't take breakfasts in the hotel. There're so many nice cafes around, so you can try different cafe every morning.

No noise in the hotel but Barcelona's life and trafic at night (expected) made the night a little bit less restfull than expected in such a nice place! Very well adapted for families with two communicant rooms! Very nice breakfeast..and the metro just near (3 stations to ramblas!), so ideal to visit the city easily!Very nice stay

Our stay at this hotel is fondly remembered. The staff are absolutly wonderful!!! not only do they have an answer to any question but also nothing is ever too much trouble and the service is always with a smile. only thing to note that the hotel breakfast is a bit expensive but there is a great cafe just across the road. The hotel is only 3 metro stops from the centre and the metro is only a 1min walk from the hotel. Thanks for everything Ignacio! (Penguin from Aust)

Very Good hotel and standard, staff at reception very helpful;they could speak english and french. A restaurant would be a plus to the hotel. We had a very good dinner not far from the hotel at the Bodega restaurant. Hotel close to underground. Advice to travellers driving for the first time to the place or any other place in Barcelona, have a gps or you can find yourself in problems as very often, the roads are under repairs and construction, and when you follow the route drawn, you find yourself to look for a main avenue or street under construction with deviation. It is not that simple.

We only stayed at the hotel one night. We were on our way back to the states and checked in late and out early. Staff was competent and rooms were clean. If you are looking to tour Barcelona - especially the older sections- I would not recommend this location. It is quite a distance from the Las Ramblas.

There are good and bad things about this hotel. I start with the good. It had a moderately good location because there were 2 metro, train stations nearby and we could easily reach the city centre within 10 minutes. The surrounding streets are nice and safe. The hotel and rooms are nicely furnished and the bathroom was extremely equipped with everything i.e. toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, soap, shampoo, shoe polisher, etc. And now the bad things are coming: it was very loud, you could hear every noice, speaking from the corridor, neighbouring rooms and street. Also there were 2 twin beds pulled together and not the normal double bed which caused that we found ourselves on the floor when the 2 beds suddenly came separately as the floor was very slippery. Because of these things we could hardly sleep during the whole stay of 4 nights. The first impression of the hotel was very good but experiencing the beds and the noises, we were disappointed.

The Guillermo Tell was actually more fashionable than I had expected. The room was clean and nice and even though you could hear the traffic some nights it was ok. The most negative was the staff, we met 4-5 of them and only one of them, workning at noght, was friendly to us. The others did not even smile and looked raelly bothered when we asked them something. There are nice places for breakfast just around the courner and three minutes walk to the trainstation. We often walked tin to the center, about 40 min walk with.
