About Hotel Gotico

The air in this hotel is awful - it smells of mildew and mold. The hallways have holes in the walls and need repair. Our first room had a broken air conditioner and shower head holder. The air is what made it a very uncomfortable stay - we would have left if we were not in a group. I did not sleep well threr and that is the purpose of a hotel. Not what you expect from a 4 star. The location was great but there were three star hotels in the area that looked just as nice or nicer.

The location of the hotel is very good, but our room was stinking with a cigarette smoke. In fact, the entire hotel smells pretty bad. The bathroom fictures were in poor condition, and the tub leaked badly. The employees don't care, and unless you really press for answers, you're are not going to get anything from them. I would never stay or recommend this hotel to anyone.

While clean and comfortable it was hard to see why this hotel is 4*. We had breakfast included - don't bother, it was the worst breakfast ever with the worst service ever. Would not ever return. The only decent person was on check in.

Buses n. 17, 19, 40, 45 and 120 run near the hotel.

By airplane
From Barcelona-El Prat Airport take bus L46-Pl. Espanya/Aeroport BCN and get off at Pl. Espanya-FGC stop. Then take underground L3-Zona Universitaria/Canyelles and get off at Liceu stop.
