Hotel Evenia Rocafort - Barcelona

The hotel was up to standard and i had a good stay. Special thanks to the staff - Elena (if i did spell it correctly), who really went out of her way to help us. Great location and i really liked it

Evenia Rocafort gave us a great base to visit the Nou Camp, meet up with family who had an appt. on the Ramblas, easy walk to the Fountain Magic and good access to the metro lines to see all the Gaudi sites in Barcelona. A hearty breakfast set us up for the day staff were very courteous and helpful - solved the problem of which atm to extract the tickets for the nou camp for example.

If you like rock hard beds, this is the place for you. Otherwise good location, quiet and close to metro links

Great location just 5 minutes walking from Poble Sec metro station. The room was really small but enough to spend a weekend in Barcelona.

The room was quite small, suited better for a 2 star hotel. I stayed there for 2 nights, and every morning, at 9 o'clock I was woken up either by the lady cleaning the nearby rooms or by the technician guy drilling the walls. I understand they have to do their jobs, but still they have to respect the "quiet hours". Otherwise, the location is excellent, the receptionists are well trained and the prices are quite ok.

This hotel has an excellent location: it is located at 5 minutes walking distance from the Rocafort Underground station which is 3 stops away from Placa de Catalunya and 5 stops from Estacio Nord where the Barcelona bus arrives from and departs to Girona Airport. Enjoy your stay!

Very clean hotel, located well, near a subway station, many places may be reached by foot (Montjuich; centre of town,...). Very accessible personnel, varied breakfast.

Arrived after a 24hr flight and hotel staff very helpful allowing us early access to our room. The receptionist spoke english and he was very helpful in providing information relating to metro lines and stations. If you eat your evening meals early then the area is disappointing unless you eat at the hotel. Most nearby restaurants don't open until 9pm. The hotel does provides free internet services and their breakfast is quite reasonably priced.

The hotel staff were extremely competent and gave lots of advice as to where to go and how to get there. We informed them that we were an early arrival and a room was ready early in the morning. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We spent 5 days in Barcelona. Great location, close to the centre but far enough from the noise. Easy walk to and from the Rambla, the nightlife(or you can use the metro)and from Plaza de Espana. The room was small but clean and the air conditioning an absolute plus. Incredible the food market half a block away.

Nice hotel in a very convenient location (By the way, use the Poble Sec metro station, rather than the Rocafort; because Poble Sec is much closer, about 1 mn on foot). Friendly staff. Our room was small and looked onto an inner space, but it was OK. The room was very clean, but walls are really thin. In general it was very quiet, but one morning we woke up to the sound of the TV next door. Free internet access at the lobby, which is a plus.

Convenient spacious rooms. The restaurant for breakfast seems to have dirty tables that are seldom cleaned - I walked down at 7:15am for breakfast, which means I'm one of the first there, but I found several tables have either easy greasy finger prints or bread crumbs on them, and it was like this for two days in a row. Eventhough there is a piece of narrow yellow fabric in the center of the table that gets changed with every guest after eating, I don't think the table were cleaned frequently. Some simple effort for better cleaning from the restaurant manager could make the guest's stay in the hotel a lot more enjoyable. So please work on improving this!

Hotel is in a good place,with some 20-30min walk to Las Rambla, with Metro and buses available.This gives you quiet evenings and time to rest. Party goers might find it a bit far from the town centre.Staff is very friendly and helpful.Room was clean and of decent size. All in all very nice hotel, with excellent staff. There are parking in the basement of the hotel and it is FREE. rent a bike and cycle through BArcelona, leave your bike in hotel parking and use it tomorrow again.

Excellent hotel! trés bon rapport qualité -prix!! je ne fus pas décu de ma chambre ( très agréable) .L 'acceuil a été excellent .l'hotel se situe proche de tout les point touristique de la ville (seulement a 4 station de las ramblas) de plus il y a un trés sympa restaurant méxicain pas loin de l'hotel.. je le recommande vivement!

We stayed 4 nights during Noel 2007 in Barcelona and all our days in Rocafort was perfect. we paid almost 50E/day for one double room. I was quite tired of Europien's old, dirty, expensive hotels. But when I entered this Hotel, I was quite satisfied about their quality compared to it's rate. Actually room's quality was much higher than the rate. We didn't have breakfast but it seemed OK. We paied 14E+tax for parking for one day. The surrounding area had serious parking problems. Fortunately it was christmas season and we only had to pay one day for the private parking and parked on the streat the other days. But I guess it's better to rent the private parking place if you're not in the holidays. Only unhappy thing about this hotel was, house keeping. After cleaning our room he/she keep putting our washing stuffs in the feet cleaning basin. and one day she/he left an empty can(drink) on our table. My husband left really uncomfortable about it. Except that I'll definetely stay again in my next trip in BCN.

Very nice hotel. Close to metro (3-5min)("Pablo Sec") and within walking distance to city centre (20-25min). We stayed in double room - quite spacious, nice bathroom, clean. The Flat TV could have been bigger thou.

We've enjoyed our journey to Barcelona. The hotel was'nt that far from the airport. I do recommand you to take a taxi. It's fast and not too expansive (aprx. 25 euro's). The hotel was situated in a quiet and lovely location. There is a metro station nearby, about 2 min walking. The room was'nt that Spacious, but clean and comfortabel. The staff is very friendly and ready to help, when needed. I do recommand this hotel. The price/quality was fair.

The location is far from main attractions but you find a metro station 5 min walk. The room is very nice and comfortable. o mapa é confuso ! o hotel fica a duas quadras do metro mas longe das atrações ! cobra pelo cafe da manha ! o quarto tem piso de madeira banheira e é muito bom mesmo ! internet gratis banda larga !

Nice and modern hotel, but the room is small, enough for 4-5 days if you are traveling for a congres. Is not very close to the center of Barcelona, 20-25 minutes to walk, but there is a metro station near the hotel. Breakfast is very good (not included), I will suggest the coffee from the bar.

The hotel was very good for the price compared to other hotels in Barcelona.

Camera con finestra su corte interna, non si vedeva il cielo, un po' buia, poco areata, condizionatore manda aria direttamente addosso sul letto: non possibile usarlo quando siamo in camera. per il resto abbastanza ok

I think that hotel Cotursa Rocafort is the best *** hotel I have visited in Barcelona. I recommend it for its services, location and prices.

Very clean and quiet. Free internet in the lobby. One of the lowest price you can find in Barcelona. Perfect if you have to stay near the Fira for work.

La chambre était propre, moderne mais petite. Le petit déjeuner était un super buffet varié et de qualité. Nous avons également pris un repas qui était un excellent rapport qualité prix.

A little off the beaten path...20 minute walk to Las Ramblas, but 5 minute walk to Rocofort metro stop which is two stops away from city centerb (5 minutes ride). Excellent quality simple hotel, clean, in quiet safe residential neighborhood. Very helpful staff. Brand new bathrooms and VERY QUIET. Free internet in lobby. Would go right back there next time in barcelona.

Friendly and helpful staff (English speaking). All in all a very nice stay. A drawback was our room which was very small, unfortunately.

Welcoming and very helpful staff, although the cleaning ladies decided to eat some of my chocolates;) Good localization, very close to the metro (line that goes to the very center of the city and the Univerity area - the two things that interested me the most.) Very nice hotel room, although smaller than on pictures attached to the site...

Excellent rate between price/quality. The same room and service in Italy would be more expensive. We checked at 01.00 a.m., personnel very kind. Good position of the hotel in a very quiet area and near to the city centre. Excellent experience. In Italia un hotel così si paga almeno 20 Euro in più e ha sicuramente una stella in più. Lo raccomando.

Da consigliare senza esitazioni, buona accoglienza (siamo arrivati dopo la mezzanotte e c'erano pasticcini pronti per noi), albergo nuovo, pulito e vicinissimo ad una stazione della metropolitana. Buono il rapporto qualità/prezzo, confrontato con altri alberghi, senz'altro conveniente. L'unica pecca la colazione non inclusa nel prezzo e costosa, ma nei dintorni ci sono bar dove è possibile bere un buon caffè. Personale giovane e disponibile. Noi ci ritorneremo.

The most important feature of this hotel in making it a successful stay was the friendly, attentive and competent staff. They were knowledgable on local travel arrangements and on places to eat. Good value for money.

Compared to the hotel fiesta barcelona with the price that we payed this hotel was below avarage. compared to general prices in spain this hotel was tooo expensive
