Location right on the Rambla is its best feature. You walk outside and you are in Barcelona. Easy walking distance to metro and many tourist attractions. Just two negatives. Mattresses very hard, and I had to sleep with pillow under my aged back to survive. My daughter complained about the noise level even though our room was not on the street side. I should have asked if other rooms had softer mattresses, but did not think of that. Barcelona is a great city to visit, especially if you like Gaudi's work as we did.

A no frills facility in a great location. You can't beat the value. It's clean and all you need for just sleeping, bathing, checking the internet and then going out to explore Barcelona. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The room was reasobale value for money and the inclusive breakfast was OK. The hotel is central, right on La Rambla, although the street-level frontage is small. I had a great week in Barcelona; I only wish I had had more time there.

Centraly located hotel with poor facilities, dirty rooms and very poor value for money payed. Las Ramblas is not a nice place to stay anymore, it is the red zone of Barcelona, where mafias deal with their business and you get robbed one way or other even in front of the police, as we did.

Checked in and went to room... HOT. Turned on AC and left for 3 hours for dinner and walking. Returned to find the room just as hot. Front Desk guy could'nt leave desk because his relief was on break. 45 minutes later, they moved us to another room. In the second room safe was closed from last guest. Room very noisey from hallway, next door room watching soccer match, and most especially the street: Sirens four times, loud car stereos, people drunk and loud at 2,3,4am all VERY audible in the room. Didn't sleep much. They charge for each sheet of paper for the guest computer! Maybe a room not on the street if I ever went back.

The staff was very helpful and friendly and at the same time very professional . Their 1st concern was that I feel comfortable and safe .They gave me very clear and helpful advice and information when needed. Wireless connection is perfect even from the room . Very good breakfast that consisted of a croissant , cheese bread , coffee of your choice ,yoghurt , everything is ready at the table at 7am . Very close to everything , right in the action of la Rambla street .when you close the window , you hear the noise but not in a disturbing way . it was still very good . I will definitely go back to that hotel and recomend it .

The Hotel is very simple which is ok but it is just too expensive for the category. My room was ok in the size but terrible in its location:Inside-shaft where the drainpipes are located so you can enjoy every noise of that. Forget the breakfast and go to the next bar-cafeteria and get a real good coffee. I did not complain because I should´nt have looked so much at the location of the hotel which is excellent......

Great position, right on the Ramblas. Nevertheless, very quiet room. Very good advise about restaurants (The Fonda was perfect!). The only drawback: very poor breakfast.

This hotel was in a perfect location, quiet and within easy walking distance from all of the sights we wanted to visit. The hotel staff were helpful and gracious. The room was kept clean and the air conditioning worked well. It was spacious enough for us to sleep and have access to our luggage and clothes,

Nice and clean hotel and very good located, but the breakfast could be more extensive. We missed: sandwich filling, such as: cheese, ham and chocolate spread.

The Cuatro Naciones is very centrally placed at the Rambla. The personel were addressing any questions we had directly. The personel was professional and also welcomed and treated our kids with a little extra attention, which was very nice. We enjoyed our stay, and everything was working to satisfaction. The wireless internet worked perfect on all floors, and we stayed on the third floor. Within walking distance to the central places, Plaza de Catalunya and Rambla del Mar.

We arrived to find a very friendly staff and very welcoming. We were early so they held our bags for us until the room was ready and brought the bags upstairs for us. The staff was extremely helpful in setting up 2 taxi's to arrive at 3:00a.m. to take us to the airport and a wake up call. The room was a little smelly like an old building or something but once we were past that we had a very nice stay here. There is shopping all around so we were able to walk around and enjoy dinner close by. We would stay here again, though the prices seemed a little high.

Our room was basic but clean and we had our own rooftop patio which we weren't expecting. The location is the best thing about this hotel as it is right on La Rambla. The breakfast was a nice bonus. We would definitely stay again.

If you like to be close to Las Ramblas, this hotel is right there, however, for the quality, the price is way too high only because of it's location. The hotel is old and not too kept up. for a similar price but 5 minutes away from Las Ramblas, we found Acta Splendid on Calle Muntener. An excellent and modern hotel, with very clean, bright, quiet and fairly good size rooms. I do not recommend Quatro Naciones.

Cet Hotel est parfaitement situé a mi-chemin de tout points d'intérets, près du marché Boqueria, Barri Gothic, marina et de la place Catalunya. Et mon petit dejeuner était compris!

The hotel is perfectly located; there is a metro station nearby (20 metres from the hotel) the services are great, all as indicated in the web page. The staff is great, very professional and friendly. The breakfast is ok. The only disadvantage is that the walls of the room are a bit thin, but this is not a problem at all. I highly recommend the hotel.
