Hotel Catalonia La Pedrera - Barcelona

A very nice hotel, business class, located in a nice and safe residential neighborhood near the Pedrera. We were there in Dec and the hotel was well heated. We did not hear any street noise. Five min from the metro. If you want to be located near the center but far away from the hustle and bustle of the Ramblas, this hotel is a good choice.

I was in Barcelona for only 3 days, and I got a special offer for a room in this hotel. I was surprised to see the room, a kind of suite (a living room, a bedroom, a deck and even a jacuzzi) for a ridiculous price, comparable to a youth hostel. I've already been in BCN for 2 months, and I can confirm that the hotel position is very good, in a very central but quiet room. I definitely can recommend this hotel!

Nice hotel, excellent staff

Weekend stay for anniversary so as really a hotel geared up for business purposes a surprisingly good venue. No frills but wanted basic stay with good service and got that. Corcega a bit out of the way in relation to Barcelona central hub but only short cab ride away from most areas then short walks. Some road noise which if in summer with windows open could prove difficult

Stayed for two nights. The employee at the lobbby was not welcoming at all. We got the worst room. Everything seemed fine at first but we woke up at 6am with the roaring sound of watter falling in the bathroom. There were openings in the corners of the ceiling and water was "falling" like a waterfall making a huge noise as it hit the floor. Called the lobby but the employee said it happens time to time when someone's taking shower in the room above. She said it as if it wasn't anything special. Told me that they would send a man to fix it but never showed up. One of the worst hotel I stayed in my life. Do not recommend.

Great location for seeing the sights, needs to clean a little more carefully-like sweeping/mopping the bathroom floor more than once a year!

Good city centre location near public transport, discreet but friendly service. Ideal for our purpose of exploring the city and its environs
