Hotel Azul BCN - Barcelona

Good location. Nice terrace on the roof. The room was spacious and very comfortable in spite of the broken closet door. Some of the staff weren't extremely welcoming or polite - we had the impression that they felt annoyed all the time, but everyone spoke English and were helpful so the stay was delightful overall. The continental breakfast at the hotel was ok - not offering a lot of choice, though. There are a few little places around the hotel where one can have a light snack in the morning.

Noted previous comments regarding this hotel. The position was fantastic, room facilities nore than we expected. Although no bar in hotel a very friendly little cafe immediately next door did the job. A supermarked 2 doors down and a few metres to local transport served us well.

The room was extremely spacious and clean with up to date rooms and decor. But if you don't like the colour blue be aware that all the walls are painted blue. They do offer breakfast (not full) but at additional cost. The location was easy to get to from the airport (take the aero bus, 5 euros, and get off at the first stop). Hotel is a 2 min walk to Plaça d'Espanya which is also a stop on the sight seeing bus route. Would definetly stay here again.

Very helpful employees - pleasant and spatious rooms - good breakfast buffet - our room was cleaned a bit late the first day - very noisy surroundings but bearable in the room due to double panes windows - excellent location : near to Montjuïc and underground station

I went to Barcellona for 3 days and 2 night, with some friends. We enjoy very much staying at Hotel Azul. It was perfect, very clean, very spacious, we had the kitchen inside also.. and it was very very quite as well. The staff was very kind with us and very friendly too. If i would return to Barcellona i'd like to stay to Azul again..abselutely. I strightly recommend this hotel.

The trate and the cuality is better than a 3 star hotel. It's a very good choice for your rest.

Very good service in a good placement. Two blocks from metro station and two blocks from aerobus stop that takes you directly to/from the airport.

Too much noise with the street...windows too thin!

Really nice hotel with spacious and very clean rooms. Ideal for a cultural stay, as it is just a few minutes walk from the Plaza Espana subway station and from the Aerobus stop. Very nice also from the hospitality point of view, the employees are welcoming and always try to do their best. Free wi-fi internet connection for guests. Rich breakfast. Highly recommendend.

Very big rooms, lots of space but the property is located at a very busy street - it was very noisy even during the night! The receptionist did not speak English.
