First time at Hotel Amrey Sant Pau, I was alone, being in Barcelona for work. The hotel kept all what was promised in the web site. It's in a quiet and good quarter, well connected to the city centre; accomodation and breakfast were good, better than usual two stars standards. My double-bed room was spacious enough for single use (not so had I been in couple) and had a pleasant view on the near Hospital Sant Pau. Members of the staff were all kind and helpful. In conclusion, my stay was fully satisfactory.

Exactly as expected. located right next to Sant Pau hospital. 15 mins walk from Sagrada Familia, an hour from Ramblas, but 200 yds from metro, which connects to everywhere. Easy to get from Airport, get RENFE change at Sants Station get line 5 to Sant Pau Hospital. highly recommended

The hotel is in front of a beatiful monument (the hospital Sant Pau) and 15 minutes distance walking by the Sagrada Familia. It is easy to arrive with the car. The hotel is not in the center of Barcellona (15 min to Plaza Catalunya in metro) but near the metro stop (5 minute)and other bus stops (in front of the hotel). The hotel is very good regarding the service staffa and the cleaning. The room is good.

The room is clean and spacious. However, we rent a double room and receive a twin room. They combined the twin bed to make a double bed but it is not a successful effort. Moreover, they heat the room by the air conditioner which make noise and prevent us from sleeping. We also do not feel warm enough. Maybe in the summer this room will be okie.

The Best choice we have ever done!!!!It was really the perfect location to start visiting the city: 10 minutes on foot far from the Sagrada Familia. At the end of the day we had a place to rest where we were sure to find: cleaness and quietness. Doubtless SAGGESTED!!!

A very comfortable hotel. An excellent choice for the price - we paid 158 euros for 3 nights by booking on this website. The location is a little out of the centre of Barcelona but close to Metro, and is a 15 minute walk to the impressive Sagrada Familia, with plenty of cafes on the way. The room was large, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was good.

Nice room, clean, the personal is ok, but the hotel is not very close to the touristic attraction.

A VERY CLEAN ROOM WITH WELL-EQUIPPED BATHROOM. THE ROOM ON THE 5TH FLOOR, FACING THE BACK, WAS VERY QUIET, AS REQUESTED. THE RECEPTION STAFF WERE EFFICIENT AND VERY HELFUL, WITH A GOOD COMMAND OF ENGLISH. THE LOCATION OF THE HOTEL IS VERY CONVENIENT- ONLY 15 MINUTES WALK FROM THE SAGRADA FAMILIA AND WITH BUSES TO PLAZA CATALUNIA(NO.47) OR TO PARK GUELL( NO.92) JUST A FEW METRES FROM THE HOTEL. ALSO, THE HOSPITAL SANT PAU METRO STATION (LINE 5) IS ONLY 5 MINUTES AWAY AND TAKES YOU TO THE CENTRE WITHIN 10-15 MINUTES. AS THE ROOM TARIFF WAS VERY REASONABLE , COMPARED TO MOST OTHER HOTELS I CHECKED OUT , I CONSIDER THIS HOTEL GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY. I RECOMMEND IT HIGHLY TO MOST TYPES OF TRAVELLERS.

Excellent price/quality ratio through Venere - located in a quiet neighborhood, close to many coffee shops, a small supermarket and a fruit store, an internet site and two metro stations. Excellent view from my room to the St Paul hospital court. Only glitch: telephone 800 numbers blocked so I was not able to reconfirm my plane ticket from the hotel phone and had to find a street public phone booth. ( which is an exasperating experience as you end up loosing several 1 euro coins without getting your call through)

On the plus side, the staff was friendly and professional, the hotel clean and secure and within walking distance to many attraction and metro. Very noisy room in the morning because of the street just outside the window. At night it was allright. The staff was a bit arrogant, not so friendly. The hotel was far away from the city center, that is why I should choose a different hotel the next time I visit Barcelona.

Located betweeen 2 underground stations and short to the sights, breakfast € 8,16 is very okay, airconditioning is really loud, outside is also noisy because of the hospital nearby an the ambulances horns. But Barcelona is a very busy town, so it seems to be noisy everywhere. Rooms are very clean, made every day. Bathroom with bidet and Hairdryer, all products from shampoo to skincare included. Although it has only **, it is better then most of ***, and the price for Barcelona is more then okay. If we get to Barcelona next time, we will stay here again.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. I couldn't believe I could get a room like that for E52 (mine was on the 5th floor with a huge terrace and great views). Very convenient location near St.Pau hospital - a very nice piece of architecture. About 10 minutes walk from Sagrads Familia via picturess Gaudi street. Rooms are very clean, nice and spacious bathroom, garage is available for the extra E12. I didn't try either breakfast or dinner - we were leaving early in the morning.

Welcoming was excellent. The room and bathroom facilities were very good. The garage was very useful. The breakfast was gorgeous. No noise in spite of the proximity of the Hospital.

There is no safe deposit box in the room. Have to pay for Eur4/day and a deposit of Eur40 to use one located at the front desk. Housekeeping was good.Went back to clean rooms with clean towels after our day out.Although we took the room's towels to the beach,we still had 2 fresh ones replaced when we returned.Impressive!

A very clean modern hotel in a walk distance to Sagrada Familia. There is a big supermarket and many bars near by, so it's convenient. Unfortunately we didn't get any kind of 'view' from the window, but there must be a nice one from other rooms.

I had a very pleisant stay in Amrey Sant Pau for easter time in 2005. I requested the 6th floor and I got it! The room with terace was a nice surprise. By a short walk you reach Sagrada Familia. I'll sure come back.

Excellentes prestations. Enthousiaste!

The room was very clean and spacious... that is before we peeled back our bed sheet to discover pubic hairs. Yuck!
