It's a fair price considering this is a 2** hotel...they only have 2 english channels (BBC & CNBC).... breakfast is quite pricey (8.70Euro)and not so pleasing enough..water for tea or coffee is cold...for this breakfast price , just walk along the block to the nearest bakery where the coffee is excellent..me & my son went there on our last day , ordered their 3 pcs of small sandwiches, a croissant, a cup of coffee & tea for only 8.60Euro.

This was our first visit to Barcelona the Antibibes was a good location close to the underground network. There was a problem with the room safe but this was resolved the next day without any problems. A very good hotel for a short site seeing visit.

I booked a single and it was a tight little room but not uncomfortably or unexpectedly so. It was clean and spare, but I had everything I needed. Shower is a bit tight with a kind of spooky vent into an open space in the wall. Staff were nice and held my bags in a secure area until my room was ready. They were helpful with directions as well. Only criticsm is that the hard wood/vinyl floors everywhere ensure you hear every footstep of your neighbors above and to the side. There was a family with kids staying the night I was there so it was pretty loud. Stay here; just bring your earplugs.

Great hotel in a nice neighborhood. Close to many sites and the metro. Clean, quiet room (we had one facing the street and heard nothing with the windows closed) and accommodating and polite staff. Our breakfast was not included, but there were bakeries nearby. Also, you must leave the key at the desk when going out, which we found to be typical. I would stay again and would recommend to others. A great find!

Good quality for a 2 star hotel. Clean, tidy and friendly staff who will help you if you ask them. Our stay would've been significantly improved if the room had a kettle &fridge, especially as breakfast isn't included. There were no facilities to get hot drinking water anywhere which was a bit of pain. Nevertheless, good value and located fairly centrally.

Didn't sleep well for 4 nights. I was up to 27 C and the sun heated the hotel at day time so the nights were hot. I told the staff. They would talk to the manager but nothing happened. The room was sound proff from the outside but inside there were noise from doorslamming and bathrooms. Pros:A lot of restaurants nearby (as it is in all BCL) and 8 min walk from Sagrada Familia and close to the Metro. You get what you pay for.

Excellent price for the 2 star hotel. Reception&cleaning stuff - very welcoming and helpful. We had asked to change room as it was close to the kitchen - we were offered two options, one of which was excellent. If you are staying more than a week in Barcelona and you're not a party animal - this is an excellent location and place for the money. Easy access for walkers to the center and close to any public transport.

This was our first time in Barcelona and I'm glad that I found this hotel. The staff were helpful, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Our window looked out on to an internal area. (room 207.) Therefore it was quiet although a little bit dark. But it doesn't matter when you are sleeping. I would reccomend this hotel.

I stayed in the hotel with my 8 year old son for 3 nights as we came to watch the football. The hotel was simple to find from the train station as the directions made it simple. On arrival the staff were extremely helpful and friendly taking time to talk to me and my son. The hotel was clean and the rooms were lovely much more than I expected. The reception staff gave us a map and circled where we were and some other monuments and advised us on stations to get off at. I never bother to do reviews but was so impressed with the hotel I wanted to this time and if and when I go back to barca I would definately book this hotel.

Very clean with firm comfortable beds. Rather cramped bathroom. Helpful, efficient staff. Short walk from the metro and not too far from the Sagrada Familia (c.10 minute walk). Buy tickets for this in advance from ServiCaixa cashpoints and avoid the enormous queue. Look for ones with 'Entrada' option at the top of the touch screen; you need to put your card in first. A good choice for a well-positioned hotel with a corporate but friendly feel.

This hotel is simple, not fancy, but it was extremely clean and the staff was excellent. The rooms are small and a bit dorm-like, but since they face an inner courtyard, you are spared any outside noise. The doors/walls are a bit thin, however I always travel with a sound machine, as anyone with noise concerns should. Breakfast is simple and adequate, and if you are on a budget, you could make sandwiches to take with you for lunch, otherwise you can do better at a cafe/bar. The neighborhood is quiet at night, but I was here off season (but in high season, might be a good respie). I'd definitely stay here again.

It is a long walk to Plaça de Catalunya from the hotel but the hotel is near a bus stop and 2 blocks from the Monumental metro station. The hotel is about 4 blocks from the Barcelona Nord bus station. Gran Via Alimentacio (a local market with a number of small vendors is 1.5 blocks from the hotel on Gran Via. Plaça de Catalunya has airport buses (single fare: 5.10 euros).

We reserved a "Double room" but beds was separate, so if you prefer one double bed you have to request it before reservation. This is a clean, comfortable hotel, which is excellent value. It is fairly close to the Sagrada Familia (within walking distance), but otherwise it's a bit of a walk (ie, 20 - 30 minutes) to La Rambla and to the Passeig di Gracia. It is within walking distance to two Metro stops (Tetuan and Monumental), but it's a long walk if you have several pieces of luggage! Staff were friendly, helpful and speak excellent English. Tip: For fans of Modernist architecture, the Hospital de Sant Pau (a few blocks walk from the Sagrada Familia) is well worth a look. Unfortunately it was all under scaffolding when we visited (April 2010), but it is still a wonderful example of the period.

Very noisy, bathroom fixtures falling appart, biddete tabs stayd in my hand, careful when filling a tub, hot water may pour on your head and scald you from the shower head as water unable to be drawn through the tap as it was stuck, shower head fitting fell of, bathroom tiny, the door does not open due to toilet in the way, clean but primitive, but the noise from corridor, the adjacent rooms, from early morning cleaning staff, from guests returning to their rooms, not even ear plugs help, at least one staffer spoke English and was helpful

It was a good place to stay, close the metro and Barcelona Nord, and there were a couple of small convenience stores nearby. The wifi was free and accessible from my room (305) and when I accidentally used the login on my iPhone and found it couldn't be logged out to use on my netbook, they front desk staff were kind enough to provide me a 2nd login. Also the room safe spring to open was faulty but again the staff working the front desk (I forget his name!) was quite helpful in assisting me. The breakfast was okay considering it's a buffet, but it was the same thing everyday, so you might want to spend your 8,50 EUR elsewhere if you stay longer than 2-3 days. The staff were generally very nice, helpful and approachable (even if you spoke English or broken-Spanish like I did) -- except maybe the 1 or 2 working the desk at late hours, but nothing to cry home about. The bathroom was also very small, toiletries and towels offered was kept to a minimum, and the space to get into the shower stall was very snug. However everything was kept clean, the bed was comfortable and the price was right, so I'd stay again.

I paid over $150 US dollars for a double room that was tiny and had no natural light (the window faced a brick wall). Service was fair at best. The front desk staff were helpful but quite curt, and housekeeping was sub-par. We had to go downstairs to pick up shampoo and soap because new ones were not supplied by housekeeping. Also, the bathroom "vent" actually opens up to an open shaft in the building that the room next door opens up to as well. So I had a smoker next door whose fumes blew right into the bathroom. Gross! WiFi, although available, does not work in the rooms (even though the front desk staff insists that it does). It only worked in the second floor common area. Also, location-wise, although it's close to the Sagrada Familia, it's far from everything else you'd want to visit if you're in Barcelona as a tourist.

Prezzi buoni. Nel complesso ottimo albergo in zona tranquilla.

Very nice hotel, it's rated ** but it could easily be rated as ***. The room was neither big nor small, with air-conditioner and hairdryer. The street nearby wasn't quite still at night but not too noisy. Very helpful personal. Close to Sagrada Famiglia (10 min by foot), not close to the Old City (we reached Barrio Gotic in 30 min by foot), but very close to metro station (Monumental, 5 min). We haven't get breakfast at the hotel but it's a lot of bars nearby were you can have it cheaper than 8 euro requested by hotel. When we rent bikes it was possible to leave it in the parking at the ground floor of the hotel (as well as a car, I suppose). I strongly recommend to rent a bike, it's the best transport vehicle you could ever have in this beautiful city of Barcelona!

Ci torneremo sicuramente!!

The hotel is very near LaSagrada Familia, and very near to metro station. Its a very good and basic hotel. The employees are very helpfull. It has two star, but I can easly say that much better than three star. In Barcelona you don't plan your dinner in hotel. I recommend this hotel everybody.
