Ci torneremo sicuramente!!

The hotel is very near LaSagrada Familia, and very near to metro station. Its a very good and basic hotel. The employees are very helpfull. It has two star, but I can easly say that much better than three star. In Barcelona you don't plan your dinner in hotel. I recommend this hotel everybody.

My group were very satisfied with our 3 nights in Room 502,a suite with 2 bedrooms to sleep 4. Breakfast was extremely filling and there was always plenty available. The staff were helpful and spoke competent English. The location of the hotel is close enough for a stroll to the Ramblas or only a short hop on the Metro. Equally it is far enough away that the local restaurant prices are much more reasonable than those in the centre. I would stay in this hotel again and recommend it to friends.

Our room was on the 6th floor near the lift, which was a bit noisy. The lobby was very fresh and modern, however the hallway from the lift on our floor was a bit drab and stuffy. The room itself was fine though small. Overall we were very happy with our stay. We didn't eat in the hotel instead we went to some of the many restaurants nearby. The location is great near the Monumental metro station.

A conseiller!

Really handy for the Estation Nord bus station for Ryan Air flights. Rooms were well sound proofed which is good for Barca. There aren't that many nice bars or restaurants nearby, and while Sagrada Familia is close it's a good 20 minutes walk to somewhere more lively. Handy for Gran Via though and am sure you could get buses if that way inclined. Staff were friendly and spoke great English. Price was good but reflected the location in retrospect. Good hotel but might stay somewhere more central next time.

Constructors were working next door (nothing to do with the hotel) but it was like in my room they were working. For the rest : I recommend this hotel to everybody. Clean (almost everything new), friendly and helpfull staff. Only 5 minutes from subway. Didn't went to the breakfast becauwe there's a 'panadería' around the corner : only 1,5 euros for coffee and croissante! Taxi's from downtown : only 6 euro's. Very good hotel for citytrip. I stayed 6 days and will go back !

I haven't tried the breakfast, but it is not an issue for me. The room (305)I stayed was quiet and everything worked as expected, clean and with a safe in it. The location is as described, close to Sagrada familia (5 min. walking), close to Metro station (Monumental 3 min walking) and walking distance from Passeig de Gracia and Plaza de Catalunia (shops and restaurants). Consider that I prefer walking instead of taking buses or underground when I travel to an unknown city(so 20 min walks are OK for me). Wi-fi available in the room.

Beware when booking this hotel through Venere. When we turned up expecting a double room we were shown to a twin. We were advised Venere don't specify between twin and double and saw their email to the hotel to verify this. The hotel staff were very helpful in changing us to a double room. I didn't fancy sleeping in single beds having booked to take my boyfriend for his birthday. The hotel itself is basic with an ok sized room. It suited us as we were only using it as a base. It's within walking distance of the metro and La Sagrada Familia, we also walked mostly to Las Ramblas taking about half an hour in the heat. There is a nice cafe round the corner and a nice but very expensive restaurant across the road. Also there is a local shop nearby. It's a fairly short walk from the bus station where the bus comes directly from Girona airport, we did it pulling our cases along quite easily. I wouldn't stay here if you expect to be spending lots of time in your room, there are no public places in the hotel at all, but it's fine as a base to get out and see the sites.

The Hotel was clean, comfortable and there was a lot of space in the room. The location is very good, 5-10 minutes walking from the Estacio nord (with the suitcase;)). I didn't choose the breakfast, but the amount of cafeterias and bakery shops in the nearby is amazing... so you don't need to eat in the hotel. The renovation - the problem:) ... in the moment when I arrived the main hall was in the total reconstruction, so to enter to the hotel I needed to get through the garage entrance, which was not so fine. Apart from that it was hard to locate the entrance, so for the first time I was just spinning around(even with the reservation in one hand, and the BCN map in other) - couldn't find the entrance.

Ideal for who arrives in Barcelona with the ryanair flights as the Hotel is less then 10 minutes walk from the Bus station. Nice and secure surroundings. Very good price/quality.

The hotel in under remodelation. Is extremaly noisy we couldn't sleep and we just were at the hotel for a few hours. Also even we asked for non-smoking room the room even looked renoveted had a bad smell. A good thing for a family is the room had another little room. So it is like a little suit even the Bathroom is not so big.
USA, Nov 2008
My only regret was the reception and check-in area were under renovation so that meant entering via the car garagee and haveing to use a tiny desk to check-in. It also meant front door closed so had to enter and exit via the garage. So initial impression was negative as odd to enter by garage. Also the buffet was dssisppointing. It was minimal and I thought overpriced as no eggs and no fresh fruit, etc. What was there was okay but not really impressive. But a clean and attractive roomfir the breakfast buffet. No bar I could see if one wanted a cafe or drik after breakfast time.

The hotel was renovating the lobby area, so I can not be 100% fair with the evaluation. Very close to the Sagrada Familia Church (by Gaudi) and to public transportation. The bathroom was interesting as there is no shower pan, therefore the whole floor gets wet. It is a very basic hotel, clean and comfortable.

We were 2 couples and had rooms side by side, super.Friendly and competent staff at the front desk though they were stuffed away in a small corner of the garage during refurbishing of the reception. There was some noise from the street, but what can you expect staying in the middle of a busy city ? We stayed for 6 nights, had breakfast once at the hotel, it was ok. Other days we either went out for breakfast or had it in our room. there is bakery and supermarket nearby, and we brought our own waterboiler. Nice place to stay.

The room, as is standard in most European hotels, is a bit smaller than US rooms. However, it was very clean, pretty quiet, and included free WiFi in the room. The front desk staff were very helpful. They also speak multiple languages fluently. The hotel is not located in the most touristy part of town, but it isn't very far from those areas and you get a little quieter room at night. You can get cheaper rooms in Barcelona, but having been to Barcelona five or six times, this is a safe, solid choice and I don't think you can go wrong with it.

Five long-time girlfriends travelled to Barcelona for a cruise celebrating our 50th birthdays. We stayed at the Apsis Antibes for 2 nights. One double room & one triple room. We were able to check in early (flight arrived from US at 8am), front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful with maps and information about the city - buses - subway - etc. Rooms were clean and quiet, but on the small side. Beds were comfortable. Hot showers - take shampoo. A handful of small restaurants and bakeries very close by - good variety. Location of hotel is excellent - very close to Sagrada Familia - also very close to metro stop so you can get pretty much anywhere if you can navigate. Within walking distance of other Gaudi buildings if you are fit (maybe 12-15 blocks). ATM across the street if you need cash. Has a small elevator (many European hotels don't) and has A/C. We highly recommend this hotel - good price for a good hotel with nice staff. Not fancy but nice.

Séjour très apprécié à cet hôtel. Chambre correcte, propre, suffisamment spacieuse.

The location is excellent. It is three blocks from the metro station, and six blocks from the Sagrada Familia. Across the street is an excellent restaurant, Gorria. There is a grocery store on the same block which is nice for purchasing items for breakfast for yourself. Yes, the hotel has a breakfast for 8 Euros, but for that money it is better to buy your own for what they had, which was a glorified continental breakfast. We stayed in one of the two room suites. It was nice and definately a value for the money as we split the cost with another couple. I would go back and highly recommend it. The staff is very nice and accomodating as well.

hotel apsis antibes is a charming hotel within 2-3 blocks of La Sagrada Familia, and 2 blocks from the metro. It is within easy walking to many sites in Barcelona. I arrived very, very early in the A.M., and able to leave my luggage, etc. at the hotel without problem. Unfortunately I became sick the second day of my stay. I travelled alone and encountered very poor service in the hotel then...all the trouble I had to go trough to get a doctor and especially that, as I could barely stay on my feed, 1. they couldn't bring me water (because they "had no room service" when there was a shop next door... 2. they didn't want to advance the money foor the doctors bill. 3. I had to get up myself to find a pharmacist .

The desk clerk found us an upgraded room at the same price for immediate occupancy. The room was not fancy but large enough for comfort and adequate for travelers' needs. Throughout our stay, all of the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The hotel was a few blocks from main streets and provided a quiet environment, easy access to transportation, and plenty of restaurants and shops in the area. Noi ci siamo trovati benissimo. Raccomando a tutti di soggiornarci!!

We enjoyed every moment at Antibes Hotel in Barcelona, especially the welcoming and the location, the help to find addresses in the city, the breakfast and the comfortable room. Thank you and I hope we use your services next time. Best regards, Raphael

Hotel location conveniently close to Familial Sagrada plus walking distance to Catalunya where the actions were. Overall the front desk were helpful in advising us to take the bus -hop on and off. breakfast a bit on the high price $5 Euro for coffee/juice/croissant and baguette. Rooms were spacious and clean.Air conditioner was a bit loud when turned on ,so we opted to open the windows and the traffic noise was bearable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget in Barcelona.

Very nice hotel with super location. Very friendly welcoming by receptionists.Nice and clean room.Free parking just outside the hotel in August, because of local holidays.we like the Venere.com because it is well arranged. We also stayed at another Venere hotel in Motpellier, and it was the same nice and friendly service. We are already looking for our next hotel in Amsterdam at Venere.com

This is a quiet clean hotel fine for an overnight stay, and within walking distance of the Segrada Familia and about 7 minutes walk from the nearest metro station. Staff were helpful, and had a lockup for keeping your baggage in the hotel after you had checked out. Small tapas type bar opposite for an evening snack.

Triple room has two "bedrooms" which was nice b/c the picture showed 3 beds in one room. Only stayed one night. Did not have breakfast. Staff very nice. Easy to find. Easy to walk places if you enjoy walking. Good value for money as hotels are $$$ in barcelona...nothing fancy.
