Nice standard room, but the aircon stopped when you left the room. (Find a way to fix this yourself) Had a room right next to the service elevator, which doors made some disturbing noise several times every night. Otherwise nice room and hotel.

Nice hotel with good service. The free WiFi was down a few times (full day)and the staff told me it was an extra service. I specially chose a hotel with WiFi - and don't agree. The room 703, situated on the top floor was nice and good space. Cleaning was perfect. I didn´t eat breakfast in the hotel, and there was a lot of opportunities for that in the local area for good value.

It was a very nice and clean hotel. It is situated in the central part of Barcelona, Eixample district. There is bus 44 that stops at the hotel and also bus 43. It was easy to get from the Prat airport to the hotel: I just took the train to Sants station and from there bus 44, that left me near the hotel. (bus 43 takes you to Camp Nou, this is for people that likes soccer). The room was what I asked for. The price was very good. I recommend this hotel, and if I'll go to Barcelona again I will choose it again, because I was pleased with it.

plus: - within walking distance (15-25 minutes) from Saints train station, Plaça d'Espanya or Plaça Catalunya - clean rooms, comfortable bed. - lots of small restaurants, mini-markets, fruit shops around the hotel. - hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. minus - it's not close to any of the tourist attractions. - the room we got was on a corner and had only a tiny window, facing a wall of the hotel. as such, the room was always dark and a bit claustrophobic. on the good side, because the window was small, there was probably less noise from the street. - the staff's english was acceptable but not great.

We arrived early (9:00 am) straight from airport, early check-in was no problem. All staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. The first room we had was at the back of the hotel - very quiet, overlooking backs of other buildings. We stayed another night later in our journey at front of hotel, overlooking main roads - noisier that time, but still fine. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, great showers. About 10 minutes walk to nearest metro station.

Welcome here was excellent. Despite being 20 minutes walk from the city centre, AB Vilodomat is excellent if you are looking to travel- as we did- from the central bus and train stations. These are close by. It was a fine first stay in Barcelona. The rooms are very spacious and clean, and staff were excellent. I realise it is a growing trend, but I really have a problem with this extra charge for breakfasts. 26 euro for two breakfasts every day is a liberty on top of the room expense. There are plenty of small cafes and diners locally, however, should you wish to pay less. It is also close to the gay district in Barcelona, and in a generally good area. The room price was good, however, for the Easter weekend we were there, and I can recommend the AB Vilodomat.

We found the quality of the hotel very good compared to the price we payd. Good service, nice personell, delicious breakfast and a clean room. We choosed the location because we didn't want to stay too near to La Rambla, but there wasn't any problem to walk down town. Approxomately 15- 20 min down to Place Catalunya. We strongly recommend a tapasbar called Tejada app. 15 min walk from the hotel if you want to avoid typical tourist places.

Excellent rooms, spacious and particularly liked the adjoining rooms with connecting door that enabled us to stay in contact with teenage daughters staying in the next room. To understand my overall rating one has to consider the construction site of an underground parking in the Avenguda de Roma directly under our room (5th floor). The construction works began just before 8 a.m. and ended only at 7 p.m.I asked the reception clerk for an other room but without success. Without that disturbance (which will last still a lot of months)the romm was quite good and the situation of the hotel also (30 minutes to the Ramblas by foot).

Wonderful hotel at a low price! It's not so near at Barcellona downtown but with about 15 minutes on feet you can reach each of most important city attraction. Room quite and clean. Some of hotel employee could be more pleasant.Wi-fi dosen't work well.

Very nice modern hotel. Prices in the bar were very reasonable, no tea and coffee in the room and location not very central, but taxis to La Ramblas were very reasonable. First couple of nights were very noisy due to lots of teenage Americans on the same floor., had to speak to reception and this was resolved very quickly. Nice decor, very reasonable but a little out of the centre.

This was the first time I had stayed in Spain. Being the halfway point on a European tour it was a fantastic hotel and very central location. If you dont mind a 20 minute walk (or a 5 minute bus ride) then you are pretty much right in the centre or barcelona. PERFECT! This is a superb hotel to stay in. The staff is amazingly helpful and super friendly. Every little thing, from weather forecasts to helpful tips on good food. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with spacious bathrooms that look very clean and new. The hotel is located very about 10 minutes walk from the Rocafort Metro station, from which you can go to plaza epsanya or plaza catalunya in no time. When the weather is fine, walking to plaza espanya takes roughly 20 minutes, which is very nice. I recommend this hotel very much to anyone who wants to stay in Barcelona. The price/quality ratio is probably the best you could wish for.

Nice stay. The accomodation was a high point of our stay. We are completely satisfied of the hotel and we consider it was a really good rate prince/quality. The only bad point is the distance from metro station by foot. But it seems to be a common point for the whole town of Barcelona. Anyway, we'll surely come there again.

As it was cold for Barcelona the airconditioning could only heat the room. The first night we stayed on the first floor where windows could not be opened for security reasons. Nice, clean hotel, 5 mins walk from the metro, 20 - 25 mins walk to top of La Ramblas. Staff were friendly and most spoke english. Small bar but reasonable prices, canny shots of vodka! Neighbourhood was quiet and felt very safe walking back to hotel after a night in La Ramblas. I would probably recommend a hotel nearer to plaza de Catalunya, but if you don't mind the walk then a excellent hotel otherwise. Breakfast was pricey at 12.5 euros, but had everything you could want. Would stay there again.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise, and we recommend it highly. It is very central, extremely reasonable, spacious, clean, excellent friendly service. A "best buy"! We stayed with 2 grandchildren in two adjoining rooms (common hallway with its own locking door), one of them a corner with very nice views.
