The wooden floors in the rooms makes for a very noisy hotel, especially in the mornings. There was also some repair work being done, which made matter even worse. I would not stay at this hotel again. I have stayed at the Prestige Paseo de Gracia and believe it superior. Also, no paper tissues provided, which is odd for a 4 star hotel.

Hotel completely overpriced.Incredibly much noise from the street and from neighbouring rooms. Staff seemed uninterested, if not directly unfriendly. All in all an unpleasant stay, which meant, that we checked out after one night.

The hotel is just a few minutes walk away from the main square in the centre of Barcelona and is ideally located to get to alot of the tourist sights as well as the shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is fine, staff are freindly and helpful and the rooms are neat and tidy. Traffic noise can be a problem in the morning. The one down side was a 7% surcharge on the price quoted when booking but even taking this into account considering the location and facilities at the hotel I would stay there again.

From Barcelona-El Prat airport, take the line 10 train Aeroport-Barcelona-Estació de França at the RENFE Train Station, and get off at Passeig de Gràcia after 4 stops. It will take you 10 minutes on foot to get to the hotel.
Another option could be taking a taxi from the airport's taxi stand. It will cost you about €20,00 (take into consideration that the price can vary depending on the amount of luggage you are carrying).

By ferry
Walk to the underground station Drassanes, and take the green line (L3) to the Passeig de Gràcia stop. It will take you 10 minutes on foot to get to the hotel.
