987 Barcelona Hotel - Barcelona

Great Location, just a couple blocks away from Paseo de Gracia. Modern and good sized rooms. Ours had a terrace with a great view of Sagrada Familia. Great choice in Barcelona.

Very minimal bathroom arrangement; no cotton fiocs/ shower caps/ flip flaps (and it's is a 4 stars hotel!)

It was a nice surprise the 987Barcelona Hotel ! The room is spacious and well decorated , reminding of an Almodovar's colorful set . The location far enough from Passeig de Gracia ( two blocks ) to be quiet , and close enough to walk around . An experience to repeat !

Ok hotel, just ok and nothing more. The annoying thing was noise of lamps when they are turned on. The TV channels was mostly in Spanish, almost no channels in English. Staff was welcoming.

We stayed here for 5 days on our visit to Spain. The location is excellent and the hotel is clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and courteous and the price was very reasonable. There were 2 things that I would list as small negatives. We reserved a triple room and it was a double with a cot. There was very limited space in the room but it would have been fine as a double. The staff tried to help us but small things were sometimes difficult like trying to find a good place for currency exchange. All in all we had a good experience and I would recommend this hotel.

It was our second stay in this hotel and we loved it. A convenient location 3 blocks from Passeg de Gracia but quiet and in its own neighborhood. Rooms overlooking the inner yard are wonderful, some rooms haave a separate big shower room, which is great. The breakfast buffet is very good and in a lovely setting. Walls in rooms need some touch-up and there is little storage space, all of it on open shelves. Sufficient for a long weekend but not for big suitcases. Free Internet in a library.

This hotel was our luxury stay, and we loved it. However, we only stayed there 2 nights out of our 4 in Barcelona because they had a water problem on one floor when we went to check in. So they transferred us by taxi to an amazing hotel, Europark, then paid for our taxi back two days later and gave us an upgrade to a junior suite, with champaigne and fruit. We were excited by both of these hotels. It might not by good for two singles traveling together, as the shower and sink were not private from the rest of the room. For a couple, no problem. The toilet was separated. It's about a 15 minute walk to the Ramblas and city center, and it's a close walk to several important Gaudi sites as well as to the Metro.

We requested from the hotel and received by email confirmation of a quiet, non-smoking room with a double bed. We got it! Excellent, young Hotel staff. The hotel is in a quiet section of the City, but is convenient to metro, buses and excellent restaurants. Just ask the hotel staff. The hotel has a great contemporary vibe. One recommendation would be to add to the web page exact directions to the hotel from metro. We called the hotel from the metro exit and were given clear directions to walk from the metro to the hotel.

This was our first time staying at 987 Barcelona Hotel. We stayed there for two nights before going on our cruise. The hotel was conveniently located close to all the tourist spots we wished to visit by walking and we would certainly consider staying there again. It was clean and nicely decorated. We had asked for a triple room, though, for three mature adults and found the space rather small since it appeared to be simply a double room with a cot added. This did not give us much space for luggage -- and we traveled fairly lightly. It's important to keep checking their prices. They seem to change periodically. The other comment would be that the place was difficult to find since the signage on the hotel was small and rather obscure.

I was very disappointed - considering the price

The room was very clean and stylish. But our room was not so wide although we have ordered triple room. I felt that all of the staffs of this hotel are all kind and gentle.

Behind an old facade, a very pleasant modern hotel. Colours and design of rooms and common areas are quite avant garde but pleasant. Both rooms were very quiet which enabled us to sleep with an open window. About 5 minutes away from tourist bus stop and 30 minutes from the sea by foot. We will return!

Very nice design hotel. It's only 5 minutes far from Sagrada Familia and 15 minutes from Plaza de Catalunya.

We stayed in Barcelona for 10 days and had a great time. The hotel location is fantastic: it gives you easy access to all city areas in no time! We were assigned a very quiet room in the back of the hotel (no great view, though), and the cleaning routine was carried out twice a day. Very good indeed!

Very nice modern design hotel in an excellent location. Few minutes walk to the Passeig de Gracias. Attractive neighbourhood. Friendly, competent and helpful staff. Rich and delicious breakfast for all tastes, although the breakfast is not included in the room price. We enjoyed our stay in the 987 Barcelona Hotel very much and are looking forward to going back there!!!

We stayed in Barcelona 987 in April as we were there for the Spanish Grand Prix. The hotel was pretty close to Las Ramblas and it was very modern. The rooms were also very clean and recently renovated. However, they were quiet small and not very spacious. It didnt bother us too much as we were out and about for the Grand Prix.

We live in Indonesia where travellers are spoilt when it comes to quality v price of hotels, and have been warned that hotels in Europe are the exact opposite. This was not our first time in Europe but first in Barcelona and we were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Hotel is very modern, chic, new and very clean. Staff at reception is friendly in that cool kind of way. Room is surprisingly spacious, very stylishly decorated. Great shower. We stayed there 2 nights before taking a week long cruise then returned to the same hotel for another 2 nights. It is in a quiet area with only one restaurant close by (next door), but we loved to walk the city so during the day and night we just walked, only 10 mins to Passeig de Gracia where you'll find everything. Excellent spread for breakfast.

Excellent hotel!!

Very nice and modern hotel with a very nice location (in the city center). the room in small so you cant move freelly if you have so many bags. the hotels employees are very very helpfull and frindly.

Too expensive the breakfast

Absolutely perfect hotel! The best one we've stayed in Europe! Excellent everything! including price/quality ration :) For sure we'll stay there next time in Barcelona and will recommend it to all the friends with no doubt!
