The property offers a private beach with direct access, deck loungers and beach-umbrellas, and is only 100 meters from the bus stop with regular bus connections (every 20 minutes) to the harbour of Ischia Porto.

The hotel built by the Iacono family in 1969 and constantly renovated, features 65 rooms, lounge bar, restaurant, lift, Spa center, thermal swimming pool, hairdresser and tennis court.

We spent a week at Parco Smeraldo together with my fiancé in August of 2006. If you are not looking for too much of action this is a really perfect place to stay. Staff is incredibly welcoming and professional and they have that "touch" of home that you normally miss at resort hotels in Italy. Food is highly recommended in the hotel restaurant which is run in slightly old-fashioned manner but is really reminiscent of the old "grand" European resorts. There are few kids (at least during our stay) so one can feel undisturbed at all time of the day. La spiaggia (the beach) is virtually adjacent to the hotel premises (a tip: try the seafood restaurant, first to the right of hotel’s beach – with a big fish sign on it run by a beard guy – nothing compares to their fresh food – at very good price - can easily complement half-board at the hotel). Warm thermal pool is available most time of the day. Perfect for a week or so of nice rough Ischia-type holiday. And don’t forget the local wine – Ambra d’Ischia. The hotel is recommended all over. (Inno&Gala).

How to reach Hotel Parco Smeraldo Terme

By boat
Mergellina and Molo Beverello are the two harbours of Naples offering connections to Ischia. The trip with the ferry boat takes around 1 hour and 10 minutes, while the trip with the hydrofoil takes around 50 minutes.

By train
From the Napoli Centrale railway station, take bus n.2 and get off at the Piazza Municipio stop. From there you can reach Molo Beverello on foot (about 300 metres away).
