Hotel Imm Fusion Sukhumvit - Bangkok

The hotel had a great atmosphere, not a lager breakfast but containing what you would need for a good start on the day. The hotel has a pool, it is located in the centre of the hotel with a view from the lobby so everyone passing to the hotel can look at you while bathing, but it is a great way of cooling down after a hot day out, because the showers in the room only have very hot water (only showers no bathtubs like you see in most hotels in Thailand). The hotel is NOT in walking distends to anything but Tesco, so you need to remember to add money for transport to you travelling budget, like for example 40Bath for 6 zone on the sky train, (the station is 100meters away from the hotel and 6 zones will get you to the Siam area) The hotel has free Wi-Fi and there is also cable connection in the room if needed, it seem they have locked out some web pages but you can use sites like Skype, msn, etc. so you can still stay in touch with the people at home if needed. Over all it is a great quiet hotel, and the people working there is the friendliest I have ever meet in a hotel, they are willing to help you with almost anything, and they all have a good to high level of English A good thing to remember is to get them to write down the sights you will see that day on Thai, so that if you run in to a tuktuk driver with e very low level of English, you are sure you’ll get to the right spot. – the drives get coupons for gas and more, if they take you to tailors and jeweller stores so remember that a stop at one of does places also can get the price down for a trip around town.

Nice hotel - easy access to BST (skytrain) Local shops (Tesco Lotus)KFC MacDonnalds and local Thai eating / shopping and markets.

Room with many antz in the bed no acondionated air in public areas very bad maintenance of all areas, no paint,no clean etc this is my 6 fly to BKK and the worse hotel I never stay

Beautiful hotel but the location is not good. It is near the sky train but distance from the centre and from all the things that you can see in Bangkok. The staff was kindly.

The good: Great place to crash for a few nights. Good cost benefit relation and very close to an air train station, which is always welcome in Bangkok. The bad: there are only two internet spots available. Either you wait in line for ever, find another place to surf the net or bring your own netbook.

The only problem with the hotel is that it is far away from the city. The rooms are small but adequately maintained. Service is very good. Brakfast is also good. But price is affordable.

Well. In connection to the staff, they were very friendly despite an incident that we had regarding to what was/was not included in the rate and the fact that they charged my credit card upon arrival (which surprised me). The morning desk concierge was very helpful. Every single employee were smiling most of the time and very attentive. Unfortunately, I would not recommend the hotel. Yes, the entrance looks like in the picture. Yes, the rooms look like in the picture (or so). What is not shown is that the bathrooms were dirty and look worse than public ones(I am talking mainly about the shower) and that the hotel lacks of proper ventilation so whilst walking through the corridors and into your room you feel the humidity and the stuffiness that arises from high temperatures and no fresh air. The first time I entered the room it seemed that it was the first time in weeks that someone entered there. It took several hours of A/C to allow me properly breathing (or get used to it). The room I got was on the back of the property and my window faced an open space that was used for live music (open mic it seemed judging by the quality of the singers) I couldn't sleep because of the noise. The surroundings were not precisely inviting you for a quiet stroll around but were not threatening either. I have to recognize that the hotel is almost in front of the skytrain and that was a huge plus once you get used to it. By using the skytrain you can go anywhere in a matter of minutes and that is really, really convenient. Also there is a Tesco in the corner if you want to buy groceries or similar (but remember that you don't have a fridge in your room). Next time I'd probably pay more for a better hotel (or look something else in the same range)or go to the guesthouses in the backpackers area (that I am not keen on doing).
