Bel Ombra was a minimalist experience, but that's what we expected out of it. The room was clean but noisy, hot and stuffy. The staff was fairly unwelcoming and not very helpful. The location was fine, set back from the waterfront but certainly walkable- and walkable from the train station as well. If you just need a place to crash this will work for you, but I wouldn't stay long. Not sure if it was the bedsheets or a combination of a hot/sticky evening, but we were both very itchy and couldn't sleep well- and the morning noise didn't help.

Good value, good location, clean rooms. Reception could be a little more attentive, several times someone was near reception when we were passing but didn't come out to see if we needed anything. Parking can be a little difficult also but I would stay here again.

Simple, but very clean and recently redecorated hotel and room. Central location down town. Good breakfast. Room is very small.
