This was a characterful old hotel with friendly service. The room was spotlessly clean and the drapes and snowy white bed linen did much to make the room attractive. The breakfast was also excellent. The room scored badly though due to the room we were placed in being right at the front of the hotel. There was a 21st birthday party the night we were there. There was little noise from the party itself but the people leaving and saying goodbye to each other at the front of the hotel were very loud. At around 5 in the morning we were then woken by the sweeper lorry, then again by the bin lorry and then again by a non-cancelled alarm on the hotel phone! Also the toiletries and towels had not been replenished so there was only one individual bottle of shower gel and only one set of towels (bath and hand). This wouldn't stop me returning but I think I'd insist on a room to the rear of the hotel in future.

Cromwell Lodge Hotel is fantastic! Staff is really polite and competent, cameras are really nice and position is perfect to visit Cotswolds... I really suggest this hotel to anyone!
