I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and I hope it wont be too long before I return. The stafff were very friendly but they dont speak too much English, which for me was a bonus.

L'accueil est absolument irréprochable : grande gentillesse, disponibilité à tout moment, délicatesse. La chambre que nous avons occupée était meublée simplement mais très très propre. La situation de l'hôtel est idéal pour faire des balades dans la région : montagne, mer, villes (Lucca, Pisa...). A refaire...

most helpful of managers.we didn't have a car.other guests did. were offered lifts in town-to market and to dinner.many places to drive to in mountains would have been good.meticulously clean hotel, comfortable rooms.we stayed 5 nights. breakfast v good but, like most, not much change from day to day.noise no problem even on room overlooking piazza and bridge. good range of restaurants nearby.clean air.health resort nearby...all manner of massage (i mean legit)and mudpacks available if you want to be refreshed.50 min bus ride from hotel door to Lucca.couple of cafes in piazza below. a fine choice of restaurant in Bagni di Lucca is 'Circolo dei Forestieri',a 1 1/2k walk from hotel(we were driven, walked home downhill very pleasant by the river)splendid spacious old room,compfy upholstered chairs,& 3 glittering glasses each at table!superlative service,10 euro 'menu turistica' v good value, delicious trout!memorable and highly recommended!as is the Bridge Hotel

The Bridge is a small private hotel in a superb position giving a family type welcome. It was good value for money.

THe friendliness, help with travel arrangements and welcome at this hotel is superb, it cannot be faulted in any way. The rooms are old fashioned but clean but I would not hesitate to use it again. In fact, I fully intend to use it to stay at it whilst the purchase of our property in the area is being completed. Stay there, you won't be disappointed although you might not want to leave in a hurry.

Well placed clean friendly and reasonably priced. Pristine towels and very warm room. Continental breakfast plenty offered. Only a little english spoken so learn Italian or take a phrase book.

This is a wonderful family run hotel where the proprietors and their family are extremely welcoming. The standard of hygiene in the hotel is excellent and for its price range this hotel has everything the traveller to this part of Italy could need.

I have stayed in Bagni di Lucca on many occasions and consider by far The Bridge Hotel to be the nicest hotel in town. It's not posh or prententious but the welcome is genuinely friendly and the rooms are well decorated, clean and spacious. Breakfasts (included in the room rate) are, by Italian standards, large and very good.

The owner of the hotel was wonderful, helpful and friendly whatever our needs. The decor was dated but clean. We had two comfortable nights there.The breakfast included fresh bread and croissants. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I would recommend staying at this hotel for a few nights.

I found this hotel to be excellent value for money. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently situated in the centre and next to a bus-stop for local service into Lucca.

Clean,quiet rooms. Only a shower in my 'bathroom'. Parking was occasionally difficult. Friendly personal service from owners.

May have lacked a little in decor / facilites compared to modern 'chain' hotels but was more than made up for by location and, in particular, the friendly personal service from the owner who went out of his way for us (he evne moved his car from his own space so we could park close when we arrived tired and late and carried our bags) He even gave us an early morning call/ breakfast etc on day of departure. Top man!! On very minor criticism -on longer stays the breakfasts could do with a bit of variety. All in all though when we visit again and need a hotel we will definitely use the Bridge.
