An excellent place to stay and avoid Palermo's big city turmoil. We spent our last night of an 8-day tour of Sicily here and hoped it would be convenient to reach the airport for a morning flight back to Rome. Our only difficulty was finding the location after dark, but once we found the beach at Aspra, the local signage was very helpful. Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and gave excellent advice on the best way to drive to the air terminal the next morning.

What a find. Superb value for money. I went in Spring when it was quiet and maybe that added to the attraction of the place. Staff were excellent on arrival. Rooms were very spacious and very pleasant. Overall, highly recommmended.

We stayed at this hotel with my 2-kids and big dog. The staff was welcoming. Those who didn't speak a lot of English still tried to communicate as best as they could. They were all friendly. The hotel rooms looked as if they were renovated. Just about everything looked new. They offered a cute little breakfast every morning which was great. The area where the hotel is, is a normal area in Sicily. It was nice because you could hear the waves from the beach which was only minutes away. I liked the gated parking too. I HIGHLY reccommend this hotel and will be going back there throughout the year. A++++

Hotel facile à trouver, bien fléché, propre et accueillant, pratique pour aller visiter Palerme en train sans les embouteillages, quel dommage que durant notre séjour en Sicile nous n'ayons pas rencontré davantage d'hotels comme celui-ci.

Owners & staff very nice & accomodating. Very spacious rooms. We could not get the AC to work however (individual climate control)- it was a little stuffy - and there was an odor of sewage at times. We were there 13 May - don't know what it would be like in the heat of summer... We were surprised & not happy that they only accepted cash for payment - did not remember seeing this on the website since we guaranteed the room with a credit card... Good thing it was not that expensive. 50Euros p/nt (per room)would have been a more reasonable price. Breakfast was very spartan. Slightly off the beaten path - had the impression it was going to be a lot closer walking distance to the sea.

Some construction in the yard/ pool area and in the direct neighborhood took place during our short stay, but we only used the hotel for the night before flying home from Palermo

This is a good place, provided you have a car!!! In fact, it is NOT in Bagheria, but in Aspre mare. The rooms are spacious and very clean. But the walles are paperthin, so if you have noisy neighbours, tough luck. But ours were not, so we had 2 good nights sleep. THe breakfast is adequate, considering that italians are not breakfast people, and the rates charged. Also, be aware that there is not restaurant in Aspre mare, except the one close to the hotel. very plain, but they do have pizza and pasta.

New, clean, bright rooms.... however, the area around the hotel is a slum. It is close to a beach, but the beach is thoroughly littered and unclean. The area is ugly and the smell of sewage was awful. The hotel really stands out as a nice modern, clean building. The proprieter was really helpful and lovely. But we will never stay there again.

The hotel itself is very clean, the rooms exceptionally spacious and have an outside balcony and also kitchen area. The hosts were super who took us to and fro from the station in their car whenever asked as it was too far to walk. The main problem is the immediate area. Aspra is not developed for tourists with the beach dirty and hardly any restaurants or bars open. It is very much a fishing town but not pretty or quaint. The immediate area surrounding the hotel appears to be in a run down residential area with gangs of children letting off fireworks every evening. The hotel has no bar area. Other than that, the hotel itself would be excellent if in a different location.

For those without a car, getting around may be a problem. Although there are buses, you never know when they will come. The train station of Bagheria isn't exactly near the hotel (25-30 minutes on foot; 5 minutes by bus). Getting to Palermo isn't a probleme, though, as there are plenty of trains to and from Palermo. The hotel itself is excellent. I had a lovely spacious room with a nice clean bathroom. Bagheria is a quiet town. I would recommend this hotel for those who have time and want to visit places like Palermo and Cefalu but want some peace and quiet as well.

Although we originally had no intention to book a hotel in Aspra (Bagheria)we were very happy about it and loved the big and clean rooms we found. When we indicated that we would arrive with public transport, we where told to give a call on arrival at the train station of Bagheria so they could come and get us. The hotel is situated in a new to be developed area close to the old fishermans village. People that like a quiet place should definitly go there. When we are around will definitely go there again.
