Visited Badajoz to look at site of siege in 1812 during Peninsular War. Castle and walls are impressive but badly maintained and poorly explained. No mention of the sacrifice of British and Portuguese lives in ridding Spain of the French invader!! That said the hotel was clean and modern and very comfortable and good value nfor money. The grandchildren enjoyed the pool.

Pleased with your web site and the service offered, did not find the option to book a non smoking room. However, one was available on arrival. The staff were first class. Thank you for the service.
