I liked the hotel. It had a nice garden and I had and excellent room with a view of the mountains. Breakfast was large and impressive with many choices. The pool was nice but shallow so not for people who enjoy swimming in deep water. The hotel is a short walk from the train station and is in the pedistrian zone so traffic noise is not a problem. I ate in the hotel resaurant and I had great food at a good price. My only complaint was that the pool closed at at 2100(9 pm). most hotel pools are open till at least 22:00 or later. The hotel should also give guests directions from the trainstation. I had to find my own.

Lovely hotel, slightly faded grandeur but worth the price. Perfect location in the town. Would book again.

The Axelmannstein Hotel has comfortable and modern double and single guest rooms, featuring a private bathroom with shower or bathtub and hairdryer, wireless Internet access, direct dial telephone, cable TV, radio and a writing desk.Standard rooms (25 sq.m.) overlook the inner courtyard and a pedestrian area. Superior rooms (28 sq.m.) overlook the park and have a balcony.
Baby cots are available upon request. Pets are welcome.
