We were planning to only stay one night in Bad Gastein, but towards the end of a 3-week trip to Germany, Italy and Austria, we were tired of changing hotels and cramming too much into our agenda. So our decison to extend out stay at Hotel Solitude in Bad Gastein to 4 nights was the best one we could have made. The B&B is in a historic, beautifully preserved building that has spacious rooms and suites, several public rooms and terraces, and an excellent, first class restaurant with service all day until 10pm. The beds were not the most comfortable we've slept on, but everything else more than made up for it- the excellent breakfasts, our huge suite with separate living room, spacious bathroom with a tub that my 6-foot tall husband could stretch out in, welcoming, romantic ambiance with excellent customer service and a very reasonable rate made this the best value for our 3-week stay in Europe. Our bill for 2 huge rooms/suites for 3 people incl. breakfast was just under 100 Euros per night!!! I highly recommend Hotel Solitude.

Check-in: the rooms are available at any time after 11 a.m.
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the rooms not later than noon. A later departure can be arranged upon request.

If cacellation is done up to 7 days prior to arrival
we wil charge the client for 70% of the total amount. Canncellation done
less than 7 days before, we will charge 90%.
In case of no show or cancellation on day of arrival we will charge the
whole amount..
You may cancel your reservation without penalty up until 30 days before your arrival date, by accessing the Your Reservations page. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".
