This is a nice property, but there is simply no staff and no sign of service one would expect from a four-star hotel. Our stay was brief, so perhaps we had a poor impression, but it appears more like a large inn than a boutique hotel...

We like pets, but have problems with allergy to hairy animals. We felt that the cat should NOT have been in the dining room when we ate our evening meal. Similarly, at breakfast there were two dogs in the room and adjoining area. Dogs are allowed on the easy chairs and sofas. We would have given 10 for quietness but for the dogs barking late at night. This is our only negative comment. This was our first time in Azzate - and Lombardy.
