The only problem we had was that the air conditioning didn't work properly and they couldnt solve the problem so I asked to sleep in another room, which they gave to me.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Avila. I really can't say enough good things about it. Great prices, very nice room, service is second to none, and location is excellent. Great location. good sized room and bathroom. Beautiful inside the hotel. The beds seemed a little stiff. Slept okay. Had the usual outside noises the rubbish collectors at 0400, but the windows were shut, I probably would not of heard them. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is fraying at the edges, both literally and metaphorically. The management clearly cannot afford the required maintenance at the prices charged and yet cannot charge more because of the poor upkeep and lack of advertised facilities (e.g. the bar). However, at the price, it is quite acceptable and the breakfasts were the best value we had at four hotels in Spain. The room and bathroom were spacious. We were unable to use their parking facility because it was full, but we found it relatively easy to park free within a reasonable distance. It simply is not a four star hotel as claimed.

Parking places are very few ans cannot be reserved. Thr nearest parking is a 5 minutes walk. The place is situated just in the heart of the old city, and this is very confortable for seeing the city. However the bells are very near, and its chiming will be heard in all the rooms.

Historic building, marvellous ambience (perhaps just a shade tired in places). Good price and would definitely recommend.

Location, Location!!!! Awesome hotel. Rooms spacious by Europian standards. Bathroom was fantastic. loved the balconey overlooking the quaint streets of Avila. Appreciated the secured parking, easy to find. The restaurant and bar were very accomadating. We unfortunately speek NO spanish, yet managed very well.

The hotel is in the geographical and historic heart of Avila, inside the walls opposite the cathedral - the location was sensational. The hotel was as the website promised. Our only negative were the drains in the bathroom which smelled some of the time - but what do you expect in an ancient building! We'd stay again.

The hotel has a perfect location and installations. The only advertise that i can leave is to prevent the highest floor, therefore can hear the engine of the elevator or water falling in the acumulators of the hotel, that are in the roof.

Room (actually a suite) was spacious. Bed uncomfortable, and romm very noisy with street below us people partying until 3:00 AM. Request for extra pillows was not filled even after 2nd request in 2.5 hours. This questionaire is absurd becasue you require circles to be filled in that have no questions.
