There's only one thing I would like to remark, the bathroom was not very comfortable. The bathtub was rusty and old as well as part of the bathroom floor. Should you go there in summer, do not choose room 41.It is extremely noisy, hot and there's no air conditioning. Anyway It was a pleasure spending a couple of days in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. It's a very charming small town, good restaurants and bars. And it's only a few km far from Avignon.

A very nicely presented hotel, with lovely helpful hosts. Only downside is the extremely small shower (and we are not big people), and no lift, so travel light unless you want to carry a heavy suitcase up two or three floors. However, we would stay here again, the town is lovely and the hotel very good.

This hotel has a lot of charecter and has an unusually pleasing ambience. The position in Villeneuve is perfect and there is a very good FREE bus service to Avignon.

Rooms facing street are quite noisy. But that was the only dissappointing detail of this hotel. I would dfinetely stay there again.

Everything is perfect. Except that it is far from city center. I rented a car, so the distance is not a problem for me. I suggest the travellers who have car to reserve the room there.

The hotel is not within walking distance of Avignon city centre, but is located in a very beautiful and quiet area. I recommend renting a bicycle or car to get around or use the bus from Villeneuve to Avignon. Fantastic pastry shops and restaurants within walking distance from hotel (just don't eat Andouilette (tripe sausage) from the butchery). Enjoy a picnic on the river bank!

The hotel was wonderful, rooms were large & well equipped. We asked to have a bottle of wine opened & they even gave us wine glasses to use. Being in the old city was great, the recommendations given for meals were perfect. We had the breakfast in the morning & it was well worth the price. The staff & owners treated us as old friends & even came out to say goodbye as we departed. We definately would return for more than the one night we had at the hotel.

Very helpful staff, excellent breakfast, lovely room. Location across the Rhone River was a bit inconvenient, requiring either bus or taxi to sightsee in Avignon. Villeneuve-Les-Avignon was, in itself, a beautiful, charming village which we also enjoyed exploring. Give bus driver specific instructions about hotel destination, eg. half block from TI in Villeneuve-Les-Avignon.

It was a cozy hotel with very helpful staff. They made every effort to help me with directions and recommendations for activities and restaurants. I would definitely recommend the place to anyone wanting to stay near Avignon.

I found this hotel wonderful. Very welcoming and very reasonable rate. They had some very good mountain bikes to rent at a very good price and were very helpful with advice. It's a really unique and charming place with lots of nooks and crannies, lovely courtyard - and although I didn't use another second floor terrace. My room was spotless, spacious and comfortable - couldn't want more really Also the village Villeneuves lez Avignon is the best place to stay and explore the city. Not only is the village stunning in its own right with some great old castles and abbeys but it's just a minute or so away from Avignon proper but without any of the tourist hassle. I whole heartedly recommend it!

L'Atelier is a pretty beautiful old style guest house. It is located in a lovely village close to Avignon (little bit far to go walking). The rooms are spacious, but is important to remark that there aren't neither air conditioning nor elevator in the L'Atelier. Futhermore, the parking is 300 meters away from the hotel. The parking in fact, is open air at the local school, besides, is necessary to pass trough a dark and frightening tunel to reach the entrance. These kind of things wouldn't count if it were for free. Nevertheless, is very recomendable for a stay in the Provence and the staff are really kind and make you feel almost at home. And don't forget to take the breakfast in the charming backyard surrended by vineyards.

The hotel is a very nice place situated conveniently in the small and quite city of Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. It took us no time to find it and park on the instant parking place in front of the hotel door. It is the type of old style building with old style furnishing that we like the most. No elevator, but if you like the place it doesn't matter. Just to do some exercise. Our room is small but lovely, with a small balcony facing a slim patio. It is very convenient to park at the hotel's reserved parking lot, a three minutes walk from the hotel. Hotel staff are nice, especially the gentleman who prepared the breakfast. By the way, there's nice restaurant just a stone throw from the hotel. Only serve dinner. Try the petite plat, very delicious.

We were able to feel like we were among the French in this charming, historic hotel and neighborhood AND have a great bathroom! Breakfast was so generous we did not need lunch. Each day we were able to add to our sightseeing with hints from the kind and helpful staff and other guests.

This was a clean, bright room in a charming hotel. This may have been the best value we had in 2 weeks in France. The internet connection was great and the employees very pleasant. We walked to Avignon in about 15 minutes from the hotel.

I had read a previous comment from a customer about the smell of cat urine in the reception area. We noted this smell as well, but didn't find it to be a problem anywhere else in the hotel. The front doors are often left open to offer a more welcomging atmosphere.

It was a clean a nice charming hotel. The guy in the reception was very kind, and the hotel is perfect, having a good quality-price ratio. Breakfast is kind of expensive, so we didn't have it, but the court where it's served is lovely. Bath is simply right (clean, of course) Only a remark: it has no lift, so better no to take a heavy luggage.

It is really a nice hotel with spacious rooms, comfortable environment and helpful staff. I will stay there if I go to Avignon again. The only pity is that, as they said, they provide bike rental service, but there are only two bikes available but we have 4 people.

Our first room was small and smelled funny, but we were immediately transferred to a satisfactory room. Two days later, we transferred again to a larger, slightly more expensive room, which was excellent. The hotel is cleaned, mopped and scrubbed daily. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We recommend this hotel.
