877-662-6988Since April 2008, the ancient priory has been litteraly experiencing a renaissance: more space and light, new ultra modern furniture and the arrival in its restaurant of a new talented Chef, who likes to improvise beautiful Mediterranean arrangements on arpeggio-like local gastronomy.
For an unforgettable stay in Avignon Hotel Le Prieuré offers a wide rande of exclusive packages, cultural for tourists eager to visit Avignon or Villeneuve-lès-Avignon, oenology, gourmet, golf, wellness, as well as for couples, including a night at the hotel, a Menu Lunch at the restaurant and access to the swimming pool and the tennis court.
Annual closing: From 3 January to 10 February. From 1 November to 15 December the hotel is closed on Sunday evenings and Mondays.

Restaurant/DiningAt Restaurant le Prieuré, the new Chef Fabien Page – young and already famous – proposes à la carte and Menu delicacies of high local gastronomy spiced with the slightest touch of Provencal inspiration, changing a little each day depending on his mood and the fresh market products.
For a mouth-watering foretaste: olive oil roasted Dublin Bay prawns and shell fish ravioles, laurel-powdered lamb saddle in its dried fruit and citrus jam, foie gras and its sweet-and-sour chutney...
As for desserts are concerned, the house has its own Chef Patissier who elaborates dainties such as Ghana Chocolate Mousse-cake with its tender heart and peppermint sorbet.
The Sommelier will help you discovering the rarities of his wine cellar.
Enjoy your meal in the newly redecorated, enlarged restaurant or outside on the terrace, sheltered from the wind under the falling wisteria.

The hotel had a beautiful ambience and divine garden setting. It was very well appointed. The breakfasts were excellent, the dining room perhaps a little expensive, but the food very high quality. Our only challenge was managing the hand held shower and figuring how to turn it on an off....looked stunning but was perhaps over designed. Retired couple.

10 in every respects. The "pastisserie" at breakfast was superb. 11 points for the place, "encore", if the room have had a simple boiler for tea. I missed it. But, all things considered, wonderful hotel, people and surroundings. A marvelous stay.

This is a superb hotel with excellent service, outstanding restaurant, beautiful grounds and location in a small suburb of Avignon. The hotel is a member of the Relaix and Chateau group and you meet the kind of people you would expect in those venues. While modestly expensive, it is a bargain for the quality and service.

Hostellerie le Prieure hosts 33 wonderful guest rooms, including 20 doubles rooms - Classic or Superior - and 13 suites, all renewed in 2007. Within the medieval walls of the ancient priory, a decoration blending artfully antique pieces of furniture and state-of-the-art amenities endows the place an uncommon charm.All guest rooms feature direct phone, individually controlled air conditioning, electronic safe, free wireless Internet access and LCD flat screen TV.
Junior Suites boast a blend of modern and traditional decor and feature one king bed or two twin beds. These rooms can accommodate up to 3 persons. Accommodation amenities include balcony, air conditioning, mini-bar, safe, flat screen TV, direct-dial telephone, high-speed wired and wireless Internet access. In the bathrooms guests will find with bathrobes and shower/tub combination.
Rooms with view on the swimming pool, the garden or the terrace are available on request. Free baby cots (for children above 3 years of age, extra charge) are available on request.
