City Lodge is located in a fairly central location, only several blocks from the main street. Pros: The room was immaculate, though tiny (I had a single), and tolerably quiet. Kitchen facilities looked nice, though I did not use them. Price was right. Cons: Wireless internet was not working during my stay. (They did have pay computers in the basement lounge). This hotel was nothing fancy, but it did the trick. I'd recommend it to singles or families.

By car
If arriving via the Northern Motorway exit at Cook Street.
If arriving via the Southern Motorway exit at Nelson Street.

By airplane
Guests flying into Auckland International Airport are advised to use the Supershuttle service to reach the hotel. The service must be pre-booked on reservations@supershuttle.co.nz and costs approximately NZ$28.00 for one person and NZ$34.00 for two.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE". In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in: the rooms are available at any time after 2 p.m. Late arrivals must be advised.
Check-out: it is necessary to vacate your room not later than 10.30 a.m.

Children aged up to 12 years stay free in a room with two paying adults.
Rollaway beds are subject to an extra charge of NZ$15.00 per day.

CANCELLATION POLICY
For cancellation of reservations within 24 hours of arrival date 1 full nights accommodation charged as cancellation fee.
You may cancel your reservation without penalty up until 1 day before your arrival date, by accessing the Your Reservations page. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".
