Hotel Il Roscio - Attigliano

This was our 4th visit to this hotel which is very convenient distance from the Rome airports as either a first stop or a last stop as it is right next to the autoroute junction for Attigliano. This is a budget type hotel with fairly basic rooms which is lifted to well above average for its type by the very friendly and professional welcome. There is also a very good value restaurant just outside the front door. You wouldn't stay there for the aesthetics but for a friendly, good value overnight stay with a good meal we think it's brilliant.

This was a good hotel for an overnight stay close to the main autoroute. The staff were very kind and courteous and spoke good English. Everywhere was clean and functional. The breakfast wasn't up to much unless you have a very sweet tooth, but then,it only cost €4 each, so our expectations weren't high. There was a very good restaurant on the site and the hotel was easy to find. You wouldn't want to spend a long holiday there, but it was perfect for a stop over.

Second visit to this hotel. Excellent location as a stopover. The management and staff in this hotel are excetionally welcoming and friendly. I must also mention the restaurant just outside the hotel which serves great food at very reasonable prices and welcomed us as customers even though they were about to close for the night

I was very surprised to find the hotel was not in Attigliano but just off the motorway in an industrial area, which is full of workers from the motorway works. I have since found out that the hotel is known locally as a truckers hotel. For them it was perfect. For us not so. Thankfully it was only 1 night in here. Also the hotel is not exactly visible or well sign posted either. On the other hand, the staff were vey good.

Das Hotel ist o.key für eine Übernachtung, Durchreise. Es ist einfach zu finden, steht gleich bei Autobahnausfahrt. Das Früchstück war für den Preis sehr gut. Negatives: Das Zimmer war klein, spartanisch eingerichtet. Das Badezimmer soll erneuert werden ! Es gab eine Panne: Aus dem Wasserhahn kam eine braune Brühe. Die Spülung im Klo hat gestreikt, Wasser kam nicht - nach der Intervention ging's wieder - deshalb nicht empfehlenswert, oder haben wir nur diese schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht(!?).

very good location to drive around in umbria. the surroundings is poor, only 300 m away from exit of the highway nr.a1. The restaurant is a trucker stop with good food.

I've stayed in this area several times, but this was the first time at this hotel. it's friendly, funtional and cheap. beds could be a bit bigger and more comfortable but otherwise it's very good value for the price.

très bon accueil aussi bien à l'hôtel qu'au restaurant de l'hôtel. Nous conseillons les pâtes aux truffes qui sont excellentes.

A super hotel, very good value. Air-conditioned room a bonus. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. I would really recommend it as a stopping place after a flight into Rome. Convenient for near by Amelia.

This hotel was great for the price. Very clean and lobby areas were both inviting and interesting. The food at near-by (a few steps) restaurant was the best we had on the trip and reasonably priced. Restaurant next door at the Umbria Hotel was also excellent and reasonably priced. Very much enjoyed the little village of Attigilano and the surrounding area. Would recommend to travelers using the A1- Autostrada due to the location.

Hotel was modern and welcoming: owners spoke English fluently. Public areas and bedrooms clean, quiet and comfortable: rooms on slightly small size but more than adequate for purpose of visit. Ideal location for the traveller (located opposite entry to Autostrada) though the tourist may wish to stay in "prettier" surroundings. Nevertheless, the hotel provided excellent value for money, and was comfortable and convenient.
