En nuestro viaje a Grecia estuvimos dos veces en el Minoa. La primera vez (3 días), la habitación lamentable, especialmente el baño. La segunda vez (1 día) para coger el avión (habíamos reservado con antelación), estaba bastante mejor. El desayuno discreto. Lo mejor fue la simpatía del recepcionista de la mañana. Los alrededores dan miedo, paran allí todos los autobuses hacia Albania, y en la plaza Omonia por la noche se reúnen todos los yonquis de Atenas, y la policía rodea la plaza armados con metralletas. Ufff!

Hotel staff were helpful. Non-smoking room probably nonexistent in this hotel. Metaxourgiou metro station closest to hotel. Felt very uncomfortable at night in hotel neighborhood. Wished there were more than just door handle lock on hotel door.

From the airport: take the underground (or the X95 bus) to Syntagma Square and from there take the red line underground to Metaxourghio Station. The Minoa Hotel is just a short walk away, on the left hand side of Karolou Street.
