+++ The hotel is conveniently situated close to Glyfada centre. Relatively good price for Glyfada. Good Breakfast Swimming pool Large balcony --- Rooms are too small and hence not friendly if you travel with infants. Noisy while on the balcony (hotel close to a motorway) Difficult access for strollers/wheelchair/etc

A pleasant stay but I felt a little let down: the hotel did not live up to its sparkling photographs so I felt they were misleading. Also, the hotel had received excellent reviews from The Daily Telegraph about its great value for money so hiked up its prices about £25! (100 Euros in October) Not justified. The paintwork was flaking and looked shabby and the internet service was down. Most of the recliners around the pool were dirty. Having said this, the rooms were very smart and the staff were helpful.

Hotel much further from city center than expected: at least 40 minutes one way to Syntagma by bus, which is faster than the tram; hotel staff consistently provided wrong information with regards to transit and directions. Buffet breakfast pretty good. Sound travels from room to room. Ocean view peek a boo at best.

There was a wedding therefore the pubic areas were busy.. From the WEBSITE one does not really understand that GLIFADA is a DISTANT area from the center of Athens, the web mentiones NEARBY the center and it refers to the GLIFADA CENTER not the ATHENS center.

Yes, stay here. Lovely, inexpensive, modern hotel just up from the sea in residential area of this plesant Athens suburb. The regular # X95 bus direct from the airport dropped us on the main road (Asteria stop) a block from the hotel (20-30 minute ride/ 3.50 euros). Perfect location for us as we had flown overnight (10 hours from Canada) arriving at 8 a.m. and were returning to the airport the following day to fly to Crete. We pre-requested an early check-in which the hotel had made note of and had no problem accommodating. Desk very welcoming. Staff pleasant and efficient. Common areas spacious and classy. Outdoor patio areas had luscious plants and comfy couches. Perfect oasis for our jet-lagged bodies and first night in Greece. Would highly recommend to travelers either overnighting for a next day flight or for extended stay in Athens. Public transport around Athens is excellent and if you want to see the sights and return to a quiet haven at night, this is perfect. (Doubt you'd find anything like it in the city close to this price.) Lots of restaurants nearby but breakfast is included (yoghurt, pastries, ham, cheese, cereals etc. and good coffee) and there's a limited lunch and dinner menu. After a couple of cocktails we decided to stay in and eat around the pool. Fresh greek salad and a rather good omlette. Incidentally, the same #X95 bus continues on to the port of Pireaus. So this hotel is just as convenient if you're flying in and shipping out.

The pool closes too early. After a long hot day it would be nice to be able to cool off in the pool but it usually closes at 7pm.

The hotel is located in the nice Glyfada area, very close to its beaches and large shopping/dining area (at the end of a business day it was nice to relax swimming in the sea before going out for dinner). A tram takes you to downtown Athens in about 40 minutes. From/to the airport or the Piraeus port you can take the express bus X96. The buffet breakfast is basic but of good quality. People on business travel will appreciate the free WLAN connection to Internet (although available in the lobby only). At 79 Euro/night it's a good value for money.
