I travelled overland and was meeting my wife who arrived by air at Athens airport. Hotel was easy to find by road and on a direct bus route from airport. The hotel is a good Bed & Breakfast hotel which needs some investment, clean & well kept but is basic, and the staff welcoming. There is a tiny bar and no restaurant, which we expected from the website description. Staff prepared some sandwiches as we didn't want to go wandering around a residential area late in the evening. We stayed in a front room with a sea-view, separated from beachfront by dual carriageway which was busy but the room wasn't noisy. Suggest this is a transit hotel rather than a resort hotel.

The hotel is not on the beach but on a busy and very noisey highway..you cannot sit out on your balcony and enjoy the view..the noise is unreal...The rooms are basic..no frills but clean..the hosts are reserved but do their job..communicating in English is a bit of a problem but not impossible.

Good location to get to beaches and Athens. Good bus transport options although very difficult to find out where to buy bus tickets. Would have been useful to have bus guides and information in hotel. Nice sea views but the road in front of the hotel is very busy and noisy - not condusive to sitting out on balcony. Shame communal areas are still smoking - made breakfast uncomfortable although very good breakfast selection.

If it weren't for the lack of hot water (only lukewarm, but that might have been bad timing) and an adjustable shower bar, I would recommend the hotel. Nice view of sea, and decent breakfast. They also called for taxi service the night before to assure arrival by 8:00 am.

I needed a hotel just to stay overnight and Galini Hotel was an excellent choice. The room I was given was unusually clean and spacious with a balcony facing the sea. The shower stall was small, but manageable. There was an air-conditioner and a TV with one channel in English (and a lot of Greek ones - unfortunately I don't understand Greek). The only inconvenience was a busy and noisy road right near the hotel (between the hotel and the sea). The price was very good for such a hotel - the season has ended and the hotel was almost empty. Breakfast was OK. Hotel seems to be somewhat "in the middle of the nowhere" but there is a bus stop right next to the hotel with lots of buses. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who does not mind keeping the windows closed and does not need entertainment just next to the hotel.

Very pleasant stay. My room (210) was as pictured and indeed faces a 180 degree view of the sea. Very comfy bed. Hotel is on busline convenient to the airport (take the X96) and to the Acropolis and center of town (take the A2). Good value for the rate I paid (60 euro/night). Breakfast is boiled eggs, savory cheese and cold cut slices, toast, cold cereal and beverages, accompanied by a responsive, chirping parakeet! Even the buildings behind the hotel are beautiful. Only complaints are thin walls, only a button lock on door and annoying flies in the dining area (front doors are usually ajar). But you won't be disappointed.
