Very good hotel Center of the town, price competitive and clean. Just little noisy outside, but big issue.. Pierre

Too old hotel but without any intent to improve the facility, TV is small 14" CRT, corridor is dark, shower nozzle is broken... It is not good enough hotel to stay.

Very disappointed at the hotel, and the price was not attractive at all. The staff in the front desk was not much helpful and the view of the room was awful. The room they provided for us was right in front of the lift so we could hear all the noises. Tasty breakfast though... And the room was tiny.

A good value hotel which we found ideal for exploring the centre of Athens. Great location close to shops, acropolis and Metro. Stayed here with friends for a long weekend and it was clean and comfortable even if the rooms were not massive. This wasn't a problem for us anyway as we were out most of the time. We stayed on the 4th floor so didnt have any problems with noise but this might have been more of an issue if we were closer to the ground. Staff were friendly, breakfast was basic but overall a good hotel for its price.

I´ve stayed for 2 nights in Hotel Carolina. It was a great experience. The staff was very helpful. The location is perfect. The room 301 is clean and quiet. The breakfast is ok. Great value for the price.

++ Really good location (5 minutes walk from every nice places) and safe surroundings. Hotels in the same range of prices are in Omonia, a quiet poor area. ++ Quiet during night ++ Clean hotel ++ Good prices

We stayed in Carolina Hotel for 5 nights with four people.It's Great location close to Metoro station.and many TABERUNA around here.front desk is open 24 hours,the room is clean but close a bath-room.there is a electric pot.it's very convenient.breakfast is great,many kind of breads.we having a breakfast early time before seven o'clock. I recommend this Hotel for your stay.

A little bit noisy on the 4 floor, because the stair to the 5 floor is noisy ( elevator only to the 4 floor) and when you close the doors it was a little bit noisy too. But in general is a good hotel for the price

The staff was very helpful. Even though we arrived at 7 am in the morning, and check in wasn't until noon, they let us store our bags, have complimentary breakfast, and catch some sleep in the waiting area. As soon as a room became available (around 10 am) they cleaned it up and let us have it. They were very polite, courteous and eager to be of help. The location is also very convenient, close to Monastiraki Metro station and the bustling Plaka area, and the awesome Acropolis. The rooms were small and uninviting but very functional. The mini bar was a nice touch. The breakfast was OK, nothing exceptional but good for a quick bite before hitting the streets. Overall, great value for money. I would strongly recommend it for no-frills budget travelers.
