In a hotel, I do not expect to share toilet and shower with other people. The kitchen needed to be shared with other people also although the site gives you the idea that it's in the room you rent. The room smelled damp and like some dead body was hidden in it. The reception is a dark hole were the people sleep in the public area.

When we arrived, the lady turned and looked us up and down first before asking if we had a reservation. That made us nervous. The lobby was dark. The room was small, and something about it made me feel it was not clean. I did not have a good two night stay. The bathroom was small too. But for the low price, we can't complain much.

As we came into de hotel at 9 o'clock the owner said "everything ok, come back at 12". When we came back she said the room is not available because the other guests would like to stay longer, so she doesn't know what to do. We left the property inmediatly. The sourroundings are terrifying.

The price was very low which is what mattered to us. The room could be cleaner and the comforter didn't look clean. The host was fabulous and helped us a lot!! The hotel is located in a rather sketchy location in Athens...so I would only recommend this place if you what something cheaper and don't mind a sketchy area.

Athens Hotel is an affordable price for the experience. While not quite a fraternity house, it has its antiquated charms. The showers are all different, so decide which to use by checking them all out beforehand. Located in the heart of Athens and a Metro stop or two from main attractions. Internet use is a great help!

The price is really worth. It is nice location to see the ancient stuff. The room is with a balcony to sit. We did not expect it is very nice, but it is a nice place to enjoy the morning and quiet night. Nice owners gave us lots of help.

I would not go there is the worst hole where you can go, with a little more of money you can achieve a really better hotel, i prefer sleeping in the airport than in this "hostel".
