We stayed here for 5 nights. The location was very nice, we are so happy we didn't book a hotel from Athens (especially after seeing some of the ones we had considered...). Pireus is more calm, there's less tourists and the coast line is near. Hotel staff was exellent! Service was good and polite. The restaurants they recommended us were the best!!! Special thanks to the Indian(?) man (forgot to ask his name). Even when our balcony door broke, they fixed it really quickly and were nice. Room was a bit tiny, but compared to the price we paid excellent. The bathroom was really nice and seemed to be recently renovated. Apparently the rooms are different, so I can only speake for ours. I recommend!

Anita met my expected standard at all. Tip: try to visit "Micro Limani" (small harbour, half an hour to walk from Anita)in the evening. Very nice place with a lot of restaurants in different categories. Peter Gold Austria

Good location, but too small room. We have a triple room and feel almost can't move inside the room.

The day we arrived all transport was on strike so we had to take a cab and he couldnt find the hotel as its up a side street The staff were very helpful. Our room was cramped as there were 3 of us but no fault of the hotel. The shower very small The decor was a bit like a brothel pink and purple but very clean. The lift to 3rd floor only carries 2 people one if your overweight. They have a nice bar located in the hotel. Pireaus docks were close by and walking at night was safe. Lots of shops etc we booked a cab both days via the reception and both days the cab was there on time.yes I would stay here again

We were greeted to a lovely welcome when we arrived late at the Anita hotel but it was a bit difficult to find as the map was not very clear and we had to ask a few different people for directions. The room itself is basic but clean and the only bad thing about the room was that the toilet/shower room could do with some renovating. It was very old and musky....but overall I would recommend the Anita as a nice, cheap friendly hotel for an overnight stay near the port Pireaus on your way to or from the Islands.

My first night in Greece. Anita is close to the port and delivers good hotel services. My parents were impressed by cleaniness. The receptionists were very helpful, giving clear instructions to neighbouring supermarkets and tourist attractions. The hotel also provides good maps of Athens and its area, Piraeus.

Handy when you have to take a ferry very early in the morning, otherwise I don't see why anyone would like to stay in Piraeus.

Despite a fairly frosty welcoming from the lady at reception, we had a good one-night stay at Anita (as catching a ferry to the Islands the next morning) . This is very much a 'no frills' sort of hotel but had no real complaints at all. Our room was more than adequate (comfortable beds as I recall) and while our room faced a fairly quiet street, outside noise was barely audible. Overall, a more adequate stay but glad we did not have to stay more than 1 night in Piraeus as there's really nothing of interest to see or do there.

We had an excellent experience. We loved the large room with balcony including a table. What a great stay for a great price. The excellent location was a big plus.

We arrived in Piraeus Late, about 11pm. the first and only problem was locating the hotel. Although we had a map we couldn't quite get our bearings. We couldn't seem to identify any street names, generally we are qquite handy with maps. After several attemmpts trying to get local assistance, we were eventually pointed in the right direction. The hotel is quite near the port, about 7minutes walking, once you know your way. Arriving tired and hungry, we were pleasantly surprised by the Foyer. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We threw our bags into the room, which was basic, and headed to the bar where the barman, again extremely friendly, ordered in a pizza for us. A couple of beers later our heads were on the pillow. A 6.30am start teh next morning had us on our way, although not far from the port, the courtesy bus was a bit of a blessing at that hour. For what it was, a one night stop over, the hotel, staff, and location, the value was well worth it.

We wanted a quiet room for 1 night in a nice hotel in Piraeus and that was what we got. The room was nice and clean and so was the bathroom. Not much of a view, but we only wanted a good nights sleep. The hotel is perfect if you are on your way to or from the islands, and they provide transport for you to the port, which is appreciated.
