Excellent location and very friendly staff. Most major attractions are walking distance. Very close to 2 metro stations, Syntagma and Minestiraki and is very easily accessible from both the airport and Piraeus Port by Metro. Also is practically on Ermou street and all major markets are nearby. We stayed initially for 5 nights and then went to Santorini. The hotel kept our luggage free of cost for 3 days till we came back and took the flight back home. Over all great experience and strongly recommend this hotel.

Good value hotel, close to Syndagma Square and shopping area. Rooms are small but that is usual for city centre hotels at the price. Good breakfast included which is a bonus. Street is very narrow and room looked directly into offices opposite so we had to keep the curtains closed, but as we were not really there much in the day time this did not matter.

The only plus factor of this hotel is its location and all the rest is pretty ordinary. While I was in Athens the temperature was around 40 degrees cel and the room was so hot and humid as the AC was not working properly. Infact outside the room was cooler than inside. The mini bar power supply was also linked to the room key operated power, so when you get back to the room after a hot day looking for a cool drink all you get is a fridge full o hot drinks!

very good option for one or two nights in Athens. We stayed two nights before leaving for the Cyclads and one night before taking the plane back. The location is great both to come and go from the airport (direct by bus or metro) and from Piraeus. The hotel is clean, the day staff was welcoming and helpful (night staff, not so much). It is also very well located to visit Athens. We did everything walking and the area is safe. The view from our rooms wasn't great but it didn't matter. The hotel is quiet except for the air condition, which was leaking in the first room and quite noisy in the second. The breakfast is a buffet, with a good variety of options (eggs, bread, jam, salad, cheese...). In a nutshell: very good value for money if you are tight on budget but looking for a clean and well located hotel.

The hotel location is fantastic. Extremely central. Literally you walk out of the hotel and there are cafes right there. Walk 30 seconds and there's an H&M and a whole busy street of shopping. You can walk to Plaka very easily and walking up the Acropolis is not a hard journey at all. The location is fantastic! The hotel can be at first hard to find but any taxi driver will know where it is. The room itself was quite small and the view was not very impressive (facing another building) but the washroom was up to date and quite clean. The front desk personnel were nice but one of the ladies did give us wrong information which made our walk quite interesting. Overall, the location is great and for that alone I would go back but nothing particularly 'wow'ed me.

The location is great! Very close to Plaka and Acropolis. Also, it's located near the Metro Station. Since I just stay in Athens for 1 day, I think Hotel Athens Cypria can fulfill my requirement.

Family rooms are very very small . Value for money is excellent because of the surroundings - close to Plaka and Acropole- Breakfast is good. It's the good choice only for one night because of the rooms

Very good Hotel. Excelent location and very competent employess. I travel to Greece ones a year for business and I have found finally the best hotel for my purpose. It is located near Ermou St, only a 200 mts from Syntagma Sq (and Syntagma station), 600 mts from Plaka, it is cousy, the breackfast is for me more than I expected and the relation price quality, very good. Just one little things, never accept street view rooms, or at least not in the first 2 floors. Many bar can make you don't get sleep early during the night if you are like I was in the street view and in the 1º floor. For the rest. 0 complains... 0!! and speaking about Athens that is a lot!!. Believe me!

Athens Cypria is very well located on a quiet street near the Plaka. Big pluses for me were the free wifi, free drink at the bar and the free breakfast in the morning.

Great location! Wishing we would have stayed there longer. On street next to many clothing & shoe stops. Walk to Parthenon and old town in 15 min.

It's hard to beat the price, but the cramped room was difficult. If you're only going to sleep there, it works. The good breakfast definitely helps! But if you're going to spend time in the room, you might want to look elsewhere.

Nice hotel in the center af Athens. Only a few hundred meters to Sintagma Square and Plaka. Room rather small like in all tourist hotels in Athens. We were three persons in the room. Two grandparents of 65 years and a grandchild of 14 years. We enjoyed our stay. After a weeks trip in Greece we tried to return to the hotel, but it was full.
