Fairly good quality/price ratio. Adequate yet monotonous breakfast. Surroundings appear at first quite scary (junkies, prostitutes, loitering groups of men) but we experienced no conflictual, confrontational or agressive behaviour towards us (2 teenage girls, 1 female, 1 male). Well-situated (all the central Athens lively spots within walking distance).

If you travel with a limited budget the hotel is ok: the relationship between quality and price is adequate. One thing to take into account: the hotel is in a area of Athens that Greek people have said us to be "not safe". Therefore, we couldn't enjoy completely the stay at Athens beyond "safe" hours (we were three girls). This was also due to the lack of public transportation and taxies (connected to a strike of taxies the days of our holiday)

Despite the location, (Omonia is not very sure place at the night) the hotel presents a very good relationship between price and quality. We had breakfast and a room for 32euros. The breakfast was good : one egg, ham, cheese, bread and coffee per person. The metro was a bit less of ten minutes from the hotel. There is two stations that offer all the lines of metro. We advise you to go to the Metaxourghio station : the way is better that the ones to Omonia.

We did not stay in Aristoteles, but when we got there, they move us to the Ionis hotel, a couple of blocks away. The service was excellent, however the cleanliness of the room was not good specially under the bed. However, the main problem is the neighbourhood which seems to be a Red District or so. Seemed dangerous to go outside after dark.

The hotel itself is a nice choice. Room was very clean; staff was friendly and helpful; service and facility are good value for money. The only thing that travelers should pay attention is the surrounding. Athens is not quite an organized city and this area is especially chaotic. I would only feel less scared walking around this area with my large-size boyfriend. The hotel is not too far from two subway stations, but on the way you could witness crowd of prostitutes starting from dusk. Single traveler should consider with caution.

An easy 5 block walk from the Omonia Metro Station. The breakfast was beyond my expectations. We are walkers so we walked to all the main Athens sites and the hotel's location was just fine for this and us. The staff were very welcoming, helpful, and professional.

This Hotel is in a busy area just off Omonia Square. The area isn't great, there is prostitution and the usual accompanying undesirable clientele. Otherwise its just fine, good basic accommodation at a good basic price. Near enough to hop on the metro to anywhere a tourist would like to go.

One of numerous low-key hotels relatively near the center of Athens. Not really welcoming staff and small rooms. We had a view of the wall just 1m from the window) Would not recommend to stroll alone in the neighbourhood. Though breakfast is nice and it's easy to walk to all points of interest. Overall, cheap and no-frills stay.

It 's fair for the price per night, clean. It's easy breakfast. However, the location around hotel is not safe. It look like criminal zone, a lot of groups of black guys and teens come to meeting at the night time. Not safe to walk alone in this area at the night time. If you stay here alone, you should not come back to the hotel late. I think that it's approximately to stay for 1 or 2 nights actually. Staffs is OK, EU style.

Aristoteles hotel boasts a warm and welcoming staff, which will make you feel at home instantly. Despite its dodgy location, I was pleasantly surprised by the services' efficiency and the kindness of both receptionists and customers. Its internet connection is of good quality and the rooms, spotlessly clean. An ideal stay for up to three days, in my opinion.

Hotel Aristoteles is about 10 minutes walk from Omonia Metro Station, and hence a good location for getting around Athens. The hotel itself has a pleasant ambience, helpful people on reception, provides good breakfast. If one takes a main street (3rd September) to get to hotel, one has to pass through a "red light" district, and addicts also in evidence, though quite strong police presence as well.

The hotel is quite nice and a good deal for a big city. However, the area around the hotel is a bit unnerving, especially at night. There are men everywhere and no women to be seen! Maybe this is something to do with Athenian culture that is lost on me. In any case, it is a good deal but just be aware that you may feel a bit uncomfortable in the area around the hotel and Omonia square.

While not a hôtel de charme, certainly this hotel is not without its own charm. It is a clean, inexpensive hotel in a competitive market. A single traveler in a double room, I had no complaint. The manager was ever friendly, and seemed to enjoy helping his guests, which I witnessed him do on many occasions. This is no luxury hotel, but a reasonable, competent, and tightly managed place to stay while in Athens for business or pleasure. I was traveling on business, but I'd come back with my family to this hotel. One of the best price/quality values I've ever enjoyed. For those that want to remark that the breakfast was the same everyday, as some graffiti artist mentioned inside my night table drawer, I say, so what! They are limited in what they can offer at the prices charged.

I totally enjoyed my stay at hotel Aristoteles. For the money i paid i think the service was excellent , the breakfast was great and the room was very quiet and spacious( in the back). The person at the reception was very friendly and helpful and really went out of his way to help me and other guests. He really made everbody feel at home at the hotel and welcomed everybody with a kind word or a joke. I would recommend this hotel to everybody who wants to stay in downtown athens at a budget price. Excellent value for money.

We stayed 2 nights at Aristoteles Hotel. We have chosen it clearly because it was the cheapest we could find in Athens. The main problem was the noise outside and it was difficult to sleep during the early morning because of all the traffic outside. The bathroom was not so clean too. If you wish to stay in a cheap hotel, go to Aristoteles but bring hear plugs and don't forget shampoo (not provided by the hotel) and sleepers to enter inside the bathroom. But if you want to stay in a calm area and relax without disturb, forget that place.

This hotel was the worse hotel that I’ve ever been in and would never consider using them again. Unpleasant from the very beginning to the very end, noisy, smelly, dirty. We had to wait an hour in reception before our room was ready, on the website it states that the room will be available at 11:30 - we were only able to enter our room at 13:00PM. The room was poorly maintained and furnished, the power socket did not work, and the TV did not work. The bathroom was so tiny, dirty and outdated. You can not even lift your arms in the shower to wash your hair! Everything was old, run down and outdated! There were ants all over the room and on the floor. booked and paid for this room for 3 nights - I stayed there on Thursday night and Friday I left - I managed to find a room at the Best Western Hotel just round the corner - stunning room and service. I lost the money that I paid to Hotel Aristoteles - but I just could not stay there. They do not deserve a 2 star rating. They do not deserve a 2 star rating.

The Aristoteles is located just a few steps to Omonia from where you can reach everything in Athen. The room was quite all right but the bathroom is terribly small. To take a shower was a nightmare as the curtain sticked on your shoulder and could not even reach your feet. Mr Christos at the adm.desk is an Angel!

Great hotel, with an excellent quality vs price relationship. The receptionists were extremely nice and helpful, they even helped us solving some problems with other hotel and a boat company. Rooms were clean and nice, the only bad thing were the showers. They were too little for people over 80 kg and 1'80 m, so, most of the guys and some girls. We didn't hear noise at night cause we were in the 5th floor.Anyway, Athens is a city that never sleeps.

If you want to stay two days or three days, it's perfect... But if you want to stay longer, you should find another place. Rooms are clean, and welcoming is very nice, but it is not very "romantic" (we had a great and grey wall just in front of the window, very dark...) We were in Athens two days for tourism. It's not very expensive (50 euros), ideal for traveling young couple or an transit night.

There was a particular young boy (receptionist) who was not considerate. But there are other nice workers in the hotel particularly the elderly men and women. They are just excellent. I will sugest that the boy should be thought how to relate with people.

On arrival for our night, we were given a 4 bunk beds room, instead of the double-bed room booked. We pointed this out to the [night] hotel receptionist, but he insisted all other rooms were already taken. After catching a glimpse of his book and noticing it wasn't the case, I insisted to get our booked double-bed room, but he refused again and again. I asked to see the manager and he told me to come back at 10pm, which I did. No manager was there, and he asked me to come back at 11pm. After requesteing to phone the manager, he eventually gave us a double-bed room!! The receptionist was arguing and shouting. The room was so noisy we hardly slept because of street noise + the receptionist arguing with other people. The hotel was not very clean. Light bulb fittings were left open (dangerous !) without bulbs in some cases. The bath and toilet were dirty with hair in the bath, and bad smell of urine in the toilet. Other travellers were equally not impressed by this hotel. Also, we stayed there a week prior, as this hotel had been booked as part of a trip to Greece. When we arrived we were told the hotel had no double-bed rooms left, and we had another room booked in the hotel accross the road. That hotel was even worse, with holes and dirt in the bed sheets, and so noisy. There t2 hotel are the worse hotels i have ever been in and would never consider using them again. Unpleasant from the very begining to the very end, noisy, smelly, dirty.

My impression of hotel Arostoteles is on the whole quite positive. The welcoming at the reception desk is very friendly and so is the reception at breakfast. The room I stayed in was ok,save at night when there was some noise off and on in the room above me , no doubt caused by the occupants who got in late after going out and decided to stay up a little still before turning in.

When we arrived at Aristoteles hotel in Athens, they never got our booking from Venere. They said that they have never heard of Venere.com before and we had a lot of trouble to get the man in the reception to understand that we made a reservation on the internet. I found the hotel after walking around forever after I got off the subway. The hotel is not on regular tourist maps, because it is not real close to anything interesting. Another guest and myself had issues in the rooms getting things to work (TV, leaking faucet, Air Conditioning) and the desk man said "What do you want me to do about it". The desk man may have spoke english, but he was of no help. I bought some souveniers and asked where the post office was, and I walked all the way over there with my 3 packages and found out that the post office I was sent to did not accept parcels. There is an internet available to use, however, but when the desk man does not want anyone on it, he claims that the internet is down. I would suggest finding something closer to the Acropolis.
