We enjoyed this hotel - our room was lovely and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was great - freshly squeezed juice, loads of options and heaps of food. The location is close to Acropolis and that's convenient but it is on a very busy road. We were extremely tired so we slept but you'd never be able to open a window. All up, a great hotel and we would stay again.

A solo traveller, I arrived late at night and was without luggage after the airline lost it so was fairly upset - the staff were so helpful and kind to me, I greatly appreciated it. Great place to stay.

The hotel is situated on one of the main roads of Athens. It is close to a metro station (200 m) but not as close to the museum (10 minute walk) as stated on the web site. The receptionist, Donna, must be the best in the world! She is professional, friendly, understanding and just a delight!

I have been traveling across Europe for three months now and this has been one of my FAVORITE hotels. Great location, free wi-fi, beautiful and spacious rooms, yummy breakfast on the roof, friendly staff...and all for a very reasonable price. I definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel is delightful. Pity to stay just 1 night... It is in a very convenient location, an easy walk to the Acropolis, the Plaka, etc. The public areas are very nice and our breakfast was delicious. The staff are friendly & helpful. Our room was very nice with a lovely bathroom. For tourists there is a red open top bus stop nearby and the tourist train is also close. Highly recommended.

"Perfect place in the middle of everything" Great hotel just a short walk of all places. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were modern but at the same time classic and give a feeling of luxury. Bed was excellent, coco-mat material, best I have ever slept. Breakfast was also great, lot of choice and fresh fruits every morning. Plus comes also from free internet and computers in free use. The hotel was very near Acropolis and Temple of Zeus and the restaurant area of Plaka. The shopping street is also very close walk away. Al thought hotel is located side quite big street, inside hotel there is quiet and no noise comes inside rooms. I think it was perfect value for the money :)

Fantastic hotel. Conveniently located within 1 minute from the Akropoli metro station. The staff was ever so courteous and helpful. They made sure I were welcomed, offered me suggestions on where to eat and helped confirm my flights when I left. The hotel is remarkably clean and has a large front lobby. Free breakfast buffet with great variety of Greek and American food like scrambled eggs with sausage and bacon. The location is by far their most valuable asset. It's within a 5 min walk to the Acropolis. You are also within a few steps from the red city tour bus station. I highly recommend taking the Athens city tour bus. 15 euros for 2 days where you can hop on and off the bus. The traffic here isn't bad so taking the metro isn't going to save you that much more time. Being in Greece for the first time, this hotel made us feel like welcomed and made me fall in love with Greece.

We stayed one night at this hotel on our honeymoon after a week in Santorini. This was a great place to end our stay in Greece. It is roughly 3 blocks from a metro station and about 4 blocks from the Temple of Zeus and the Acropolis. Easy to find, right on the main street of Syngrou. 7 min walk to the metro which can you can connect with metro lines to both the port and airport. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. They gave us directions to the nearest post office. We were also able to store luggage with them after we checked out. Our room was on the ground level, just around corner from reception, facing the street. The bed was king size and comfortable. Bathroom was also clean and modern. The street noise might be a concern if you wanted to sleep-in, but we had only a half-day in Athens, so we were up pretty early. Breakfast is included and was awesome. Buffet style with both hot (eggs, sausage) and cold (pastries, cold cuts, toast, etc) selections. They even had an electric orange juice squeezer to make fresh juice. I thought this was really cool! The price and location are perfect. Hotel was also neatly decorated in smallish boutique fashion (even though I would say it is a medium sized hotel for Europe).

The Cocomat matress beds were really comfortable, but there was only 1 duvet cover in the room although it was booked for 2 and the hotel did not have an extra one! The lift starts only from the 1 floor - don't bring heavy suitcases. Previous comment about unwillingness of staff to explain how to get to Cap Souniou was confirmed.

This hotel had probably a very good photographer, who took pictures of a room which maybe does not even exist. The rooms are very, but very small and they are not really nice. Its very clean, quiet hotel without any service. The hotel does not sell even drinks, not even a coca cola. If some hotel calls itself a boutique hotel, the owner should probably know what it means before to give it such a name. This hotel deserve max. 3 stars and the presentation on venere.com does not correspond with reality at all. In general I was not satisfied and i do not consider myself as demanding custommer. Service in Greece is something what should improove a lot in general.

When I booked I contacted the hotel via email asking for a room with a bathtub which I was promised by the person who replyed writing that all rooms have one. Once on location, I was told by a careless day receptionist that no room are equipped as such. I asked for information on a public bus to reach Cape Sounio, but when the girl understood that I had no intention to buy through the hotel an excursion to go there, she suddendly did not know anything about any public bus... The evening and night staff on the contrary were very helpful and friendly.

The whole hotel smelled of smoke, it was on a very busy street, with a traffic policeman blowing his whistle from early in the morning. The coffee was appalling and the orange juice no better. Rooms were well fitted out. The location instructions on the website are totally inadequate and i spent 30 minutes trying to find the hotel based on the directions i got on the phone.

This hotel was unique in that in actuality it was much nicer than we expected from the pictures and rating. The room was not only clean but also charmingly decorated and the bathroom was excellent. The hotel staff spoke very good English and the location was ideal for those travellers interested in visiting the Acropolis and the Plaka.
