The Cocomat matress beds were really comfortable, but there was only 1 duvet cover in the room although it was booked for 2 and the hotel did not have an extra one! The lift starts only from the 1 floor - don't bring heavy suitcases. Previous comment about unwillingness of staff to explain how to get to Cap Souniou was confirmed.

This hotel had probably a very good photographer, who took pictures of a room which maybe does not even exist. The rooms are very, but very small and they are not really nice. Its very clean, quiet hotel without any service. The hotel does not sell even drinks, not even a coca cola. If some hotel calls itself a boutique hotel, the owner should probably know what it means before to give it such a name. This hotel deserve max. 3 stars and the presentation on venere.com does not correspond with reality at all. In general I was not satisfied and i do not consider myself as demanding custommer. Service in Greece is something what should improove a lot in general.

When I booked I contacted the hotel via email asking for a room with a bathtub which I was promised by the person who replyed writing that all rooms have one. Once on location, I was told by a careless day receptionist that no room are equipped as such. I asked for information on a public bus to reach Cape Sounio, but when the girl understood that I had no intention to buy through the hotel an excursion to go there, she suddendly did not know anything about any public bus... The evening and night staff on the contrary were very helpful and friendly.

The whole hotel smelled of smoke, it was on a very busy street, with a traffic policeman blowing his whistle from early in the morning. The coffee was appalling and the orange juice no better. Rooms were well fitted out. The location instructions on the website are totally inadequate and i spent 30 minutes trying to find the hotel based on the directions i got on the phone.

This hotel was unique in that in actuality it was much nicer than we expected from the pictures and rating. The room was not only clean but also charmingly decorated and the bathroom was excellent. The hotel staff spoke very good English and the location was ideal for those travellers interested in visiting the Acropolis and the Plaka.
