hotel Roma has a great location in Assisi it is a nice clean hotel, but the owner was quite rude and unhelpful once again rooms were clean with nice clean showers, our room was quite small and dark not like in the pictures (maybe we got the back side) the owner(?) (the morning staff woman)was quite rude and not friendly, we were having trouble finding the place when we arrived and she was not making a big effort to help, also on the second day before we left (after checkout) I needed to use the lavatory so she told me to go to a restaurant outside which was already closed because it was after 2pm also it wasn't clear to us that breakfast was additional 3Euro for each person, we thought it was included in the price again location was awesome and the wifi worked great, parking was xtra 10 euro outside of the city, but close by

The staff were knowledgeable and accommodating. We initially booked for three nights and ended up staying for five. It was a great break.

Personale e locali molto accoglienti, cibo buonissimo.Pur trovandosi in zona centralissima(Piazza Santa Chiara) il costo di tutto il soggiorno(4gg+colazione) è stato esiguo. Ci tornerei con piacere.

This hotel was excellent value for the money. The location is fantastic, the staff very friendly and personable, and the room surprisingly big with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. There was no AC so it was a bit warm in mid August but we did have a ceiling fan. The breakfast was typical and not outstanding. Other than that it was a very pleasant surprise for the price we paid. We really enjoyed it.

The Hotel Roma rooms are recently renovated with hardwood floors, minibar and private bathroom, TV and hair dryer. Some of them overlooking the wonderful church of Santa Chiara.Accommodation Services

How to reach Hotel Roma
By carBy car:
-From Rome: A1 exit Orte, take the E45 and follow indication for Perugia, then take the SS75 and follow directions to Assisi.
-From Bologna: A1 Bettolle exit, follow the SS75 towards for Perugia, then continue to Assisi
You can exit at Santa Maria degli Angeli North or if you prefer you can exit Ospedalicchio South, then follow the indications to Assisi Center.
Traffic is closed to “non-residents ", but for guests’ hotels a temporary permit to move and stop to unload luggage is granted.
The recommended parking are: Mojano (from which the hotel is easily accessible by foot) and Porta Nuova parking, which is also relatively close to the hotel.
By train
By Train:
-The station of Assisi is about 4 km from the city center. Outside the station you can find a taxi. Alternatively, the bus (line C) will take you to the city, you should get out at Porta Nuova and from there continue by foot following the signs to the center, the hotel is on the main street nearby Saint Clair’s Basilica.
