Lovely, helpful staff. Clean, spacious rooms. Very quiet and peaceful. Good breakfast. Great location beside the train station with bus stop for city centre right outside the door.

One of the nicest places we stayed, and definitely the cheapest, in our 2 weeks of travelling. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Would recommend it to others and hope to return!

Pleasant welcome. Make sure you notify hotel of your approximate arrival time. Room little on the smaller size and bathroom very clean and little bigger than most. Breakfast in very nice area. Parking provided in rear of hotel. Across from train station however you will need a car to get to Assisi (too far to walk. Maybe there is public transportation, I do not know, for we had a car) which is very close by car, just a few minutes. This place is a real value, with a good breakfast, parking and A/C in the rooms: can not beat it. Overall very nice stay at Moderno and I would recommend it.

How to reach Hotel Moderno

By car
From Perugia, follow the indications to Foligno and Assisi along the 4-lane road SS75. In proximity of Assisi, exit at Santa Maria degli Angeli and follow the indications to the train station. The hotel is located at about 50 metres from the station.
