The landlady locks the front door fairly frequently, but is usually quick to open it when you knock. She also does not open the front door in the morning until she gets up, around 7am. She speaks very limited English, but we were able to communicate regardless.

First time stay. The location of the hotel inside the town of Assisi was excellent, you could reach all the spots of interest easily. The 4 beds room was very small but clean. Windows with view were missing. Knowledge of some Italian language was helpful with the employees. Breakfast had a rather poor choice. All in all an economic price for an Assisi city hotel.

The location is perfect. The room is OK. As is the breakfast. If the price matters, this is a good place to stay in Assisi - a wonderful city!

By car
Coming from Florence via A1: Valdichiana escape.
To take the connection highway Perugia-Bettolle and to continue in Assisi direction, therefore to exit to Assisi-S.Maria of the Angels.

Coming from Rome via E45 Terni-Cesena: to Ponte S.Giovanni Bridge take the connection for Assisi-Foligno. Exit Assisi-S.Maria of the Angels.

By train
The railway station is Assisi-S. Maria degli Angeli: coming from Florence is about 2 hours and the same coming from Rome.

By airplane
The International Airtport of S. Egidio-Perugia, is about 5 Km far form Assisi.
