Giotto Hotel & Spa - Assisi

The combination of good location, great views, and parking in Assisi make this facility a stand-out. All other eected amenities are in place as well.

An excellent hotel blending history with modern facilities. The view from the rooms overlooking the valley is exceptional. The staff were helpful and courteous and the breakfast very decent. Thank you.

The one-way system through Assisi and entry gates is confusing and clearer information/ map is needed if driving. Good parking facilities. Good cuisine. However, if you don't manage to get into the dining room before the large tour groups, then you'll have a long wait to be served (e.g. 1 hour on our first night). Mezza pensione is well worth it as outside of the hotel, most food is overpriced rubbish.Facilities for disabled are very limited with stairs here and there in unusual places. Overall, the hotel has been fine in its day but rooms require redecoration. However, its location is marvellous and our room actually had views of the Basilica of St. Francis and the lovely surrounding countryside. No safe, which is a basic in most hotels these days.

I stayed the twinbed room which had a large bathroom,and the view from window was very good!Breakfast was also good.

Ithink the view from the garden was brilliant !! I'd like to stay your hotel again.

We had a corner room with a large terrace. The room was huge. Bathtub should have some kind of shower curtain or enclosure.

Great accomodations!

Great location and beautifull hotel. Rooms are all very different in size, decoration and amenities so try to take a look at a few different ones (they let us do this - great service!) Rooms and bathrooms are nothing special, but clean and functional. They only have a few rooms with air conditioning, so make sure to request this if needed. Public space is great, as well as the service. Good breakfast in nice room. Free parking is definitely a plus. All in all a good hotel.

Beautiful view from our room of the Umbrian valley below. Fantastic bathtub that we desperately needed after walking the town until midnight. Fabulous place to stay! We hope to return to the Giotto again.

Barbara at the front desk was a great help! She made our stay wonderful. Can't speak high enough about her. There was street construction during our stay which affected the noise level.
