Hotel Dei Priori - Assisi

Quite satisfied with the hotel just to sleep with a reasonable price. Very friendly and helpful staff at reception made my stay very much comfortable, grazie mille!! Only expect breakfast bread and rolls will be fresh next time!

This is our second time in Assisi and second time at Dei Priori and it feels like home. Thank you for making us feel welcome and comfortable all the time.

We liked the central location near the Piazza Del Commune & the Basilica Di San Chiara. The road behind the hotel was occasionly a bit noisy with scooters passing by. The staff was quite friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay Dei Priori, the service was friendly, professional and most helpful. The foyer is beautifully decorated. Our room was furnished tastefully. Unfortunately the night we stayed there was a festival and as our room faced onto the street we were kept awake by young people revelling in the town square! Any other night I'm sure it would have been much quieter. The location of the hotel is great - right next to the centre of the town. The hotel provided a very reasonable buffet dinner with great service. When we checked out the next morning, the Reception staff were most helpful in booking us a taxi. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel - we had an enjoyable stay.

Hotel location central to everything in Assisi. In a historic building with potential, but in need of room renovation. Room was dreary, stale smelling, with worn carpets and furniture,scuffed walls & woodwork. Overall a dirty atmosphere. Our room was on two levels, but the "downstairs" sitting room was more a cubicle than a room. The old, cramped bath was so small we had to use the settee in the sitting cubicle to store our toiletries. The bed did have clean, crisp sheets. Sam, the night desk clerk, was very efficient, pleasant, and spoke excellent English. He was the best part of the hotel experience. The breakfast buffet was indifferent. As it seems is the attitude of the owners of this hotel. The Dei Priori is in such a good location in such a charming city, the owners really should give it some tender, loving, care.

Excellent location just steps from the City center. Had to change rooms due to a minor problem with a condensating towel warmer, but the staff immediately responded to our request to move. Except for a shower curtain that kept collapsing, the new room was first-rate.

This hotel was the best we visited in Italy. The employees were wonderfully helpful and friendly and the facility was very well maintained. We definitely enjoyed our one-night stay there! It also has an excellent location!

Great location for walking to the sites, friendly staff most of whom are fluent in English, good breakfast, great bathroom. Loved Assissi - best to arrive before dark to get your bearings.

Please advertise that air-conditioning is only available in summer. Shower doors are poorly designed.

The Dei Priori is a delightful hotel. We were fortunate to have a room with a lovely painted ceiling. The location is in the middle of the town, making it an easy walk from one end to the other. The staff was cordial, friendly and very helpful.

The hotel was grubby, tired looking and in need of renovation. The bar in reception had no ice for drinks and the public areas smelled of stale cooking. The room was very small without a proper bath or shower and it was supposed to be a "superior" room. The carpet was stained and everything smelled stale. It was so bad that I didn't stay for the second night of my booking.

We arrived very late but they held the room for us. Nice room, small by American standards but not by European standards. Excellent breakfast each morning. Excellent service and staff, very helpful.

The room was on the street and was very noisy.The bed sagged in the middle. The room was very gloomy.

Very courteous staff, unbelievably modern and well decorated rooms. Central location. Would recommend to anyone visiting Assisi

This is a beatiful hotel which provides outstanding service in the heart of Asissi. Highly recommended
