Hotel Da Rina - Assisi

Hotel da Rina was great! It's more of a B&B I think. I really enjoyed my stay here. The bathroom was well-lit and clean, as were the room and beds. Heating was very satisfactory. The location is good for the Basilica of St. Francis but a little farther from the other chapels of Assisi. However, the Assisi city center is so small that it is not a considerable walk from this hotel to the churches ...but it is not the BEST location possible if you are looking to visit the churches. :) This is definitely NOT a reason not to stay here tho. The breakfast was delicious and the lady serving is so kind and helpful. The only issue I have is that they don't speak English which was more my problem than theirs, considering that I was in Italy. haha. But they are kind and willing to communicate through gestures, etc...not impatient about it or unhelpful. That would be the only caveat, if you want to stay somewhere where you can get advice about the area in English. I was a little confused about opening times for things and how to get around, so it would have been quite nice to have someone to ask about that, but regardless, I would recommend this 100%!

We were pleased wth the breakfast and staff and location. The narrow staircase was an issue if you take in too much luggage. We would stay there again.

I believe the hotel would rather offer the guests the air-conditioner commodity. We spent some terribly hot nights in Assisi, and the hotel structure didn't give us the comfort we needed.

A nice little hoteljust a few hundred meters from the Basilica. Thouh hard to find för the navigator.

the location is very convinient for one night stay,since taxi , bus stations and parking are near by . Brand new bathroom is nice surprising, hot shower is enough and stable. That is lucky in two stars hotel.

We stayed last year in the same hotel and again this year it was a beautiful. The proprietor and her staff are lovely and welcoming - real Italian hospitality and the Basilica a few moments up the street. Truly Assisi!

Delightful stay. Very warm, friendly. Efficient. Brilliantly located in the Upper Town so close to the astounding San Francesco basilicas and beside the San Pietro Benedictine Abbey. Staying in Assisi, one is so easily immersed into the beguiling medieval world; the town is also filled with the spirit of St Francis and St Clare. I will return and I have no hestiation recommending this prpoerty. It si also located beside the excellent De Cecco Restaruant.

Location is good - near the bus stop - on top of the post office; breakfast is not great but ok; small tv in the room is not working; English communication with front desk is not good; room space is tight

Ce que je retiendrai surtout, c'est la gentillesse du personnel, de tout le personnel. Certes les chambres sont bruyantes (munissez-vous de boules Quies) mais on ne peut pas être en plein centre historique sans prendre ce risque.

Lugar tranquilo y lleno de paz.Justo en la entrada de pueblo donde entras el carro con permiso del guardia y lo regresas al parking.Puedes caminarlo en pocas horas y hay una vista espectacular en todas partes.

Centralissimo e con parcheggio vicinissimo all'hotel (a pagamento). Cordialita' e buon servizio.

The hotel is located just steps from a bus stop and a few hundred yards from Basilica San Francesco. It was very convenient not having to walk up hills with my luggage. The room can be a bit loud during the day, especially with the window left open, but it quiets down substantially after dark. There was ample space in the room. The shower was small, but adequate. There is a small restaurant that is on the first level, and the food is reasonably priced and very good. The breakfast provided was fine too. The staff was friendly and accomodating. Should I be fortunate enough to find myself in Assisi in the future, I will plan on staying here.

For my first time to Europe, I really enjoyed and loved my stay in Assisi. I would definitely go back to Da Rina.
