It might have been a four star hotel back in the seventies, but not anymore. The hotel was a bit old fashioned, even retro, but clean and the room was ok. The breakfast was quite simple. The price was a bit too high, I think.

Coming from the A14 highway exit at San Benedetto del Tronto-Ascoli Piceno, then follow the indication for Ascoli Piceno. After about 25 km/14 miles go towards Porta Cartara-Centro, turn left towards the historic centre and follow the indications for the Hotel Gioli.
From Rome take the SS4 road to Ascoli Piceno, exit at Porta Cartara-Centro, turn left towards the historic centre and follow the indications for the Hotel Gioli.
