When you get the chance, head into the town of Arles for the day. The town has many remains from the times of the Romans to view. This include the Roman Theatre, the amphitheater, and the Alyscamps, which is a Roman necropolis. There is also the Church of St. Trophime, which is architecturally built in the Romanesque style and has amazing works of art on display. There are a couple of museums of interest as well, and they are the Musée de l'Arles et de la Provence antiques and the Museon Arlaten.

Overall the hotel is very attractive, clean and well maintained. The bathroom was very nice and the beds comfortable. The pool was lovely. The staff was nice. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was superb and worth the price. The area around the Camargue is interesting but I think a 1 to 2 night stay would be the maximum. We were a little disappointed in the horse back riding. We were told that we would learn about the area and ride up close with the bulls but that never happened. We only saw the bulls from far away and though the staff person was nice she didn't go out of her way to offer insight into the area. While the hotel is nice, it doesn't seem to be a particularly good value given that breakfast was not included. Everything was an additional charge and it was expensive.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, große, zweistöckige zimmer mit einem Badezimmer im oberen Stockwerk. Für Menschen mit einer Körperlänge von mehr als 180 cm war das Bad nur in gebückter Haltung benutzbar: schön, aber unpraktisch. Gutes Restaurant.
