Very freindly welcome . Every mornig a friendly smile. Excellent tips about Arles as well as places to eat! Excellent relation in between price, service and perfect situation of the hotel to the center.

This building dates from 1820. Updated of course with new windows and such, and with cheerful Provencal style furnishings and antiques. But while we were there, we smelled unpleasant odors, after a big rainstorm. Owner (manager?) was a wonderful man who drove us to the train station when a cab didn't come. We enjoyed our visit to Arles. Hotel is within 2 km or so of old town, walkable for most people.

The welcome we received was excellent. The lady in charge was friendly and very helpful, sorting us out with a range of restaurants open on a Sunday night and a map of the town. Would definitely go back.

Camera tripla al prezzo della doppia. le stanze avrebbero bisogno di una buona ristrutturazione (il bagno cadeva un po' a pezzi...!). Gestore dell'hotel gentile e disponibile. Hotel a cinque minuti a piedi dal centro storico.

This was the worst hotel experience of our trip. It is true that the hotel is hard to find, especially in the rain. Forget about parking by the front door, the street is very narrow and there is only one parking space. We could not call (no cell phone) about our one hour delay, so the lady (owner?) was in a very bad mood. She treated us almost like trespassers, or at least like dumb clueless tourists. We definitely did not feel welcome there.

The hotel was very clean and friendly helpful staff. It was a bit out of the centre but easy to get to and from the motor way. The hotel is on the main market street and was a bit scruffy, and it seems to be an arab area so there seemed to be groups of men sitting around.

Our stay was most enjoyable. The hotel was well situated without walking distance of all historic sites. The hotel was frequented by pleasant and international guests. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who would like to have an enjoyable stay. HA, Germany

Molto caratteristico. a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro. Colazione ottima.

A recommander.

It was extremely difficult to find the hotel. We had to stop and ask several times before we did find it. Our room was fine but even though it was a non-smoking room, it smelled like a smoking room. The room and bathroom were clean. The breakfast room was very cold. Fortunately, we were able to adjust the heat in our room. The location is okay - but not great. It is on the edge of Arles, but Arles is small enough that we were able to walk everywhere. We had to walk a distance to get to restaurants for dinner - quaint restaurants are not near the hotel.

The hotel was in a difficult to find, poorly lit and somewhat unsavory area of town. There is no one watching the front desk at night. The front door used an entry code, but the door didn't close properly, so it would have been easy for intruders to enter (also, during our stay, some other guests who were not given the code were locked out and other guests had to let them in). The hotel threatens a 50 euro fine if anything with the plumbing needs fixing during your stay. You are also not allowed to eat or drink in your room. Note: There is no internet access terminal except for the front desk. DO NOT USE front desk computer. I used it one night to check my email, on the advice of some other guests who had stayed there for a few nights and done the same, and at checkout, the owners threatened me with legal action! Regarding Arles generally, November is not a good time to visit. Many restaurants and attractions were closed for the winter. If you want to visit Provence, Avignon appears livelier during the offseason, and is therefore probably a better place to stay.

We appreciated the location because of the ease of access - easy to get in and out of town by car, as well as a short walk to the historic center. The price was outstanding. We stayed in a tiny double room - just a quick overnight stay on our way to the Languedoc from Provence.

Friendly and informative proprieters. Clean, basic rooms if rather small. But if you are looking for a very reasonably priced hotel for one or two nights close to centre of Arles, then this is excellent.

Once we found it, this hotel was in a good location for seeing the sites in Arle, with free car parking nearby and easy access to the main road network. The room was comfortable but lacked a wardrobe. The breakfast was good value, with ham and cheese available. The owners were helpful, allowing us to access our email.

This hotel is a must. The owners, Veronique and her husband were the most gracious hosts. Veronique made crumb cake for breakfast one day and homemade applesauce. It was like visiting family. The location was great, central to the old town. The hotel is the very hotel one would expect to find in a smaller city in France. Would definately return to Arles. If for no other reason, just to stay at the Constantin.

Very comfortable hotel with quality service. We found the owners to be helpful and friendly. The location was great as everything was very close. There is even a laundry mat across the street which was a true life saver in our long trip. We would gladly recommend this hotel.

For some reason, we were put in a much larger room than the one that we reserved. As a result, we had a huge, beautiful room, which was the only one on the ground floor. For that reason, I can't really comment on the spaciousness or quietness of the standard rooms, but ours was great. The hotel itself was very nice, with an extremely friendly proprietor, a delicious breakfast, and a very good location for walking into town. The only thing that I didn't really like was that you are asked not to eat in the room, and it wasn't clear if it was okay to eat your own food in the breakfast area. Also, the bathroom in our room didn't have real doors--only swinging, saloon-style shutters. This was okay for my husband and me, but if I were staying with anyone else, it might make me a little bit uncomfortable. Otherwise, it was a great hotel and I'd definitely stay there again.

The best breakfast we have ever had in France: different types of bread, juice, yoghurt, cereals and even fruit, in a lovely decorated breakfast room! The new owners (really friendly and interesting people who had enough of the ratrace in their original professions) have good tips about restaurants and cultural events and for those of you who don't speak French: they speak English!

Really central location and noise only from the nearby motorway and only if, in perverse English style, you insist on having the window open all night. Definitely <<un bon acceuil>> and very helpful advice about where to eat. Rooms prettily decorated in provencale style with lots of natural light and small functional facilities. I believe the owner speaks English too but we were able to chat happily in French. Would definitely recommend and will probably return next year.

We spent one night at the hotel without breakfast. Hotel is not far away from the city center. There is a spacious car park near the hotel. The picture that appears on the web shows correctly how the room is. Streets around the hotel are poor illuminated, but they seem safe. Nice hotel, nice staff and nice price.

Although the hotel was clean and cheap it was next to one of the busiest roads in Arles. This was a shame because the rest of Arles is so pretty and quiet that it would have been fairer if the website had provided this information. It was disappointing to be next to such a noisy and unsightly road.
