It was a wonderful stay in Argegno - and I would always come again.... The room was very unquiet (thin walls and outside the one main road along the Lake Como) - but then - to make it all up - there was the beautiful view across the lake, including balcony

PLEASE, Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this hotel! Not only it is impossible to rest in the morning hours (if you have a room facing the lake, due to all the traffic in the street, what we understand is not under the hotel's control)BUT what is really worst and under the hotel's control (and we complained about it), is the loud speaking and noise generated by the hotel's staff - in hallways and reception area - which you can actually hear in your room!!! We had such a terrible and restless night/morning that we decided to check out after the first night. To make things even worst, we were penalized by the hotel for checking out early than the total nights in our reservation (despite the fact that we complained about the internal and loud noised generated by the hotel's staff) by charging us additional Euros 70.00. The reason put forward was because the hotel had to pay "Venere's fee for the reservation" !!! We understand this "fee" in case of no show or cancellation but it is definetely wrong to charge a customer due to the hotel's own fault and negligence. This is not right or fair to any customer staying at a hotel, no matter how many stars the hotel may have.

Excellent location, good restaurant inside. Very kind employees. We enjoy our stay in Argegno.

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Uferstraße des Comer Sees. Die seeseitigen Zimmer bieten zwar einen schönen Panoramablick, allerdings hat man hier die ganze Nacht auch mit den Auswirkungen des Verkehrslärms zu kämpfen. Wenn einem dies nichts ausmacht, ist das Hotel "Argegno" sicher eine soldie Wahl mit angemessenen Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Hotel liegt direkt an der Hauptverkehrsstrasse. Sehr viel Verkehrslärm.

Hotel and room was by no means worth 94€. Worst of all, not only there was no parking, but no parking possibility whatsoever. One would have to pay every 3 hours to park even in the neighbourhood. Since we needed to go on tour we decided to cancel. Although we did so immediately, and before 12 a.m., and the hotel was not fully booked, they insised for us to pay the full price of the room. They rejected proposals of paying the half etc. A very bad experience - and money lost.
