Distance from town center is about 1 Km of walk with not interesting sourroundings. We have preferred to reach the town by car.

Very good Hotel at walking distance from the center of Arezzo. Large Parking area, but was full owing to a Congress. However they offered a place in the garage at no additional cost. Personnel were friendly and professional.

Pleasent hotel just outside the city walls, around 15 minuits walk from the railway station or a EUR 6 taxi journey. The hotel is close enough to walk to/from the old town without the need for a taxi, though there is a regular bus service throughout the day (Buses 4/6). The hotel room was clean and spacious, and although we didn't have dinner there, the breakfasts were fine, with a good selection of standard items. I would stay there again without hesitation if returning to Arezzo.

Exceptionally well sign-posted, so easy to find when driving to Arezzo - and a very good, large parking area. Pleasant reception staff - and one man was especially helpful. He spoke very good English and went out of his way to give us help and advice on things to see, to get us a booking to see the Piero della Francesca frescoes etc. Good restaurant in the hotel. Not is the cnetre of town, but an easy walk to everything.

Location good for picking up car rental (directly across the street). Amenities in local area are poor, however. The welcoming from the hotel on arrival was very poor, and the room (although clean and spacious) was absent of any toiletries (soap, shampoo), and I had to request this.

We were staying overnight in Arezzo in order to break a long train journey. We couldn't have asked for more from the hotel. It's predominately a business hotel ( I think) but we enjoyed great service and were very happy with the price. The location was near the train station and not far from the city walls which suited us perfectly. We felt very relaxed during our stay and sat for drinks in the lobby for a while too as we weren't too sure about being out late in the surrounding area and came back to the hotel around 9pm. (we're two females)

Arezzo es una ciudad por descubrir, muy bonita y el hotel está situado a las afueras, aunque, al contrario de lo que suele pasar hay muchas indicaciones para llegar.

The motorist or conference nature of the hotel and teh distance from teh Centre had not been entirely clear to me. For only an overnight stay it was too far away

One of the best priced hotels in this town. The location is not the most central, and the price will not seem that cheap but Arezzo has few basic hotels anyway. In other words you get a 4 star hotel for the price of 2 star hotels around.

This hotel offers outstanding value for the price. Room and bath were spacious, immaculate, and modern. The hotel is within walking distance of the historic center of town and for those who choose not to walk, there is bus service. Parking is free and ample and the hotel is convenient to the roads that lead to many of the other towns you will want to visit in Tuscany and Umbria. Would most definitely recommend this hotel.

Rooms were quite noisy. We could clearly hear conversations taking place in adjacent rooms. Like most hotels in Italy, double bed meant two single beds pushed together. Room was clean and staff were helpful when we needed to find a phone number. Breakfast was quite generous with fresh fruit, lots of baked goods, yogurts and the usual meat and cheese. Facilities were quite nice and it's a pleasant ten to fifteen walk to the old part of Arezzo.

E' un hotel accogliente, pulito con camere spaziose ed il personale si mette a disposizione anche se non sempre riesce a risolvere le situazioni (stanza fredda e rumorosa). L'hotel è decentrato ma è una buona base per visitare la zona. E' assolutamente necessario avere l'auto. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.

The staff was very pleasant and polite. The hotel is very conveniently located (walking distance to the historical downtown and on a main road close to the city major intersection and entrance to highways for Florence and Padova).

Ottima accoglienza. L'hotel è situato a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro storico, si trova in città e ha un ampio parcheggio molto comodo per poter fermare l'auto durante il soggiorno. Veramente ottimo il ristorante situato all'interno dell'Hotel.

Modern Hotel located at about 15 min. walking from the town's center. Free parking available in front of the hotel. Spacious modern and quiet room. We spent there one night and had one full day to see Arezzo; it's a wonderful town, but you should allow at least one day, don't rush it out. Must see Pierro dela Francesca's frescoes in san Francesco church. From Arezzo we drove over the mountains to Urbino and stopped on our way in Monterchi, Anghiari & Sansepolcro, for more of Francesca's frescoes then spent the night in Urbino.

This hotel was okay, but a bit of a distance from old town Arezzo. The silliest thing we found was with the fitness center. We had to have a hotel employee escort us just to get in - they wouldn't simply give out a key. There was a good restaurant around the corner - Madamadore's. Breakfast here was good, with lots of options - meats, cheeses, cereals, breads, etc. There was a bus from the hotel going into the old town, but I think if I end up in Arezzo again I will stay closer to the main station/town.

Very nice spacious room. A great hotel! The lack of direction from the train station was a big problem. The hotel was much farther from the station than indicated.Better directions would be great.

The hotel is difficult to find without better directions...far from the center. For the Euros 20 spent on cab fare, could have had a more expensive room in town. This is a business traveller's hotel. Very efficient but charmless.

The Minerva is essentially a businessman's hotel -- very modern, with a large parking lot. For the leisure traveller, it is only a one-kilometer walk to the historic center of town. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, although there was only one "glass" glass (the others were plastic)which seems strange for a 4-star hotel. Breakfast was excellent, with a good array of meats and cheeses, pastries, etc. Eggs are available on request. The bar was well stocked and the drinks generous. The dining room was outstanding -- a wide range of dishes, beautifully prepared, with superb service (ask for Maurizio). Internet service is available, but not free. We would stay here again if we returned to Arezzo.
